An American Christian missionary has returned home to freedom after enduring nine months of captivity in Niger, with the White House hosting him to mark his safe return. Kevin Rideout’s release represents a significant victory for American diplomatic efforts and a powerful testament to the nation’s commitment to its citizens abroad.
The missionary’s ordeal in the West African nation highlights the dangers faced by Americans spreading the gospel in unstable regions. Niger has experienced increasing security challenges in recent years, making missionary work increasingly perilous for those committed to their faith-based calling.

I was praying for his safe return to his family. I read that it was not known if he was dead or alive. I am joyful that he is safe and back home. Thank you Trump administration for getting this done!
