Knowledge Nuggets:

  • Antonio Rios, who was facing numerous indecent exposure charges, including exposing himself to a child, was given 10 years of probation after copping to aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury to Lynn Isaak.
  • During the 2021 ambush, Isaak tried to outrun Rios for seven miles and fight him off, but claimed he fed off her fear, fondling himself as she tried to escape.
  • Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza, who ran on a platform of criminal justice reform when he was elected in 2021, made the decision not to give Rios prison time.

Antonio Rios, a predator who broke a woman’s leg in four places while chasing after her and masturbating, has been let off with probation by Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza.

Rios, who is currently facing numerous indecent exposure charges, including exposing himself to a child, is free to roam the streets despite copping to aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury to Lynn Isaak.

During the 2021 ambush, Isaak tried to outrun Rios for seven miles and fight him off, but claimed he fed off her fear, fondling himself as she tried to escape. The felon was eventually scared off by a neighbor but the ordeal left her without the ability to walk for four months as her leg was shattered, and she will eventually need to replace her entire knee.

The decision not to give Rios prison time was made by Garza, who ran on a platform of criminal justice reform when he was elected in 2021.

This sentencing has sparked controversy, with Isaak slamming the fact Rios was not even released with a GPS-monitoring device. Ten women who claim Rios had exposed themselves to them appeared at his sentencing to protest, and Isaak’s attorney, former prosecutor Kelsey McKay, explained Garza has repeatedly made it clear his focus is on rehabilitating criminals.

McKay said of Garza’s office, “His focus seems to be on not making the perpetuator worse.” However, most sexual predators reoffend, often escalating the level of violence they use, according to McKay.

With Rios having a growing rap sheet, including indecent exposure charges for masturbating in front of a 9-year-old child and his mother, this decision not to give him prison time has raised concerns. McKay added, “It’s not a matter of time — it’s a matter of if he gets caught.”

Clear Thoughts:

The sentencing of Antonio Rios is a perfect example of why we need law and order in our society. Criminals like Rios should be punished for their heinous acts, not let off with a slap on the wrist. The decision by Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza to give Rios probation instead of prison time is a complete failure of the criminal justice system.

This is not someone who can be rehabilitated through probation. Most sexual predators reoffend, often escalating the level of violence they use. The decision not to give Rios prison time is a disservice to his victims and to the public at large.

Garza claims to be focused on criminal justice reform, but what about the victims? What about Lynn Isaak, who was attacked by Rios and left unable to walk for four months? What about the ten women who claim Rios exposed themselves to them? Garza’s decision not to give Rios prison time sends a message that is dangerous to the public.

This kind of behaviour is becoming the norm with these DA’s. Can Congress come up with legislation to disbar them or curb their dangerous actions.

Do that crap in Missouri and you won’t have to worry about prison time. Just what plot you want to be in

Garza, Gardener (ST. Louis), Foxx (Chicago), Gascon (L.A.) others like them need to be fired or removed from office. Bragg is another one who really needs to go. All funded by Soros.

Next time he is convicted this DA and the judge who approved the sentence agreement should get 10 years each.
