Lead Singer Flees Stage During Concert After Laser Scare
Clear Facts
- Nick Jonas abruptly left the stage during a concert in Prague after a laser was pointed at him.
- The incident led to a temporary pause in the Jonas Brothers’ performance, which resumed after a few minutes.
- The O2 Arena confirmed that the interruption was due to a prohibited laser pointer used by an audience member.
During a recent Jonas Brothers concert in Prague, Nick Jonas faced a frightening situation that forced him to leave the stage mid-performance. The incident occurred when a laser was directed at him, prompting a swift response from the singer.
A video clip shows Jonas seated at the piano before he suddenly stands, signaling “time out” using American Sign Language. He quickly made his way off the stage, running down a designated path between fans.
The concert, part of the “Jonas Brothers World Tour,” was momentarily halted as a result of the laser incident. According to the O2 Arena, where the event took place, “The organizing service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance.”
Both Kevin and Joe Jonas joined Nick in leaving the stage shortly after him. Despite the scare, Joe later shared videos on social media without mentioning the incident.
Fans expressed their concern online, emphasizing that artists should not have to deal with such security threats. One fan commented, “This is terrifying…and could have horrible consequences so please stop complaining about the artists who have to cancel their shows.”
Another user highlighted the personal side of the situation, noting, “He’s so scared. This breaks my heart. He’s a father and husband first. People need to be more mindful.” Nick Jonas is married to actress Priyanka Chopra, and they share a daughter, Malti Marie.
This isn’t the first time Jonas has encountered issues on stage. Last year, he experienced a fall during a Boston concert but managed to recover quickly.
The Jonas Brothers are set to continue their tour with a performance in Kraków, Poland, following the Prague incident.
