South Carolina Representative Ralph Norman addressed the tension between rising national debt and the costs of military operations in Iran.

While long a vocal critic of deficit spending, Norman argued that national survival must take precedence over budgetary constraints during active conflict.

“I’m concerned about the debt at every level, not just the war,” Norman answered when questioned about the financial impact of the engagement.
