  • The decision affects scheduled dates with Jelly Roll following the Stagecoach music festival
  • The singer stated his production timeline and tour schedule were not aligning properly

Post Malone has made the difficult decision to delay his upcoming tour dates with Jelly Roll, citing the need to complete new music he’s promised to fans. The announcement came through his Instagram account, where he addressed ticket holders directly.

“I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts,” Post wrote. “We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”

The singer explained that after reviewing his schedule following the Stagecoach music festival, he realized the production timeline wasn’t feasible. Rather than compromise on quality or rush the creative process, he chose to give the project the time it deserves.

“Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we were trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up,” he added.

Post Malone offered an apology to fans who had purchased tickets to the now-postponed shows. He expressed enthusiasm about eventually performing the new material live and assured supporters the wait would be worthwhile.

“Been making some badass stuff for this double album … can’t wait to perform for y’all again,” he said.

The artist, born Austin Richard Post, first gained widespread recognition with his debut album “Stoney,” which featured the chart-topping single “Congratulations.” More recently, he released “F-1 Trillion,” a full-length country album that showcased a different side of his musical abilities.

Raised in New York before moving to Texas, where his father worked as a manager of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys, Malone has successfully bridged multiple musical genres. His southern upbringing combined with his hip-hop background has created a unique sound that resonates with audiences across traditional genre boundaries.

The three-week delay demonstrates the singer’s commitment to delivering quality work rather than meeting arbitrary deadlines. In an era where artists often face pressure to maintain constant touring schedules, the decision to prioritize artistic integrity over immediate commercial obligations reflects a refreshing approach to the music business.
