President Trump, after taking the oath of office for a second time, delivered an inaugural address that resonated with optimism and a vision for America’s future. He declared that a “tide of change is sweeping the country,” and expressed confidence that the United States is entering a “new era of national success.”

“The golden age of America begins right now,” he proclaimed, emphasizing that from this moment, the nation will be respected globally and will no longer be taken advantage of.

During his address, Trump reiterated his commitment to putting “America first” throughout his administration. He assured the nation that the U.S. “sovereignty will be reclaimed, our safety will be restored,” and pledged to end what he described as the “vicious, violent and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department.”

Trump also touched on the challenges facing the country, acknowledging that while they are numerous, they will be overcome by the momentum he believes is building in the United States.

“But first, we must be honest about the challenges we face,” he stated. “While they are plentiful, they will be annihilated by this great momentum that the world is now witnessing in the United States of America.”

He addressed a “crisis of trust” in government, framing his recent election as a mandate to reverse past betrayals and restore faith, wealth, and democracy to the people. “From this moment on, America’s decline is over,” Trump declared.

The inauguration took place indoors at the Capitol Rotunda due to an arctic blast, marking the first time in four decades that the ceremony was moved inside. Trump’s victory came after a contentious election cycle, where he defeated former Vice President Kamala Harris following President Biden’s withdrawal from the race.

Trump’s campaign was not without its challenges, including surviving an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania and another threat in Florida. Reflecting on these events, Trump stated, “Over the past eight years, I have been tested and challenged more than any president in our 250-year history… Those who wish to stop our cause have tried to take my freedom and indeed to take my life.”

He continued, “But I felt then and believe even more so now, that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again.”

On his first day back in office, Trump is set to take swift action with over 200 executive orders. These actions aim to bolster border security, energy independence, and reduce living costs for American families. Additionally, he plans to dismantle several policies from the previous administration, including ending “catch and release” and withdrawing from the Paris climate accord.

Climate change is upon us even earlier than scientists forecasted. I’m it was confirmed last week that the Earth in 2024 breached the 1.5°C limit of climate warming set only 9 years earlier. Trump’has NO plan to address this crisis; and his agenda — withdraw from Paris, “drill, baby drill”, etc. — will only expedite climate change, extraordinary weather events, sea level rising and global warming.

Are you just being lazy or did you not have a photo from today’s inauguration? Trump didn’t wear the tie today and Melanie had a hat on the entire time. We need you to be accurate if you want to be believed. Shame

I completely agree with Adele Aiken. He even used 2 Bibles today and it was indoors and not outdoors. This is a very old picture.
