Former Fox News personality Jennifer Eckhart accuses Ed Henry of violently raping her and asking her to be his ‘sex slave’ [Video]
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Jennifer Eckhart, ex-Fox News personality, claimed she was sexually abused by a former host of Fox channel, Ed Henry, in a recent lawsuit filed against the station and some other male hosts of a sexual misdemeanor.
- Eckhart wrote on her complaint that Henry emotionally forced manipulated her into having sex with him multiple times, and there are instances of rape as well.
- The suit also states that Fox News was informed of Eckhart’s claims way back in 2017 but did not reprimand Henry.
Former Fox News anchor Jennifer Eckhart said she was sexually attacked by Ed Henry, ex-host from Fox, on the latest lawsuit against the network. Sexual misconduct charges were also filed against some other male hosts of Fox.
In her complaint filed on Monday, Eckhart alleged in the complaint that Henry forced her to have an intimate relationship with him with violent rape episodes.
Fox fired Henry earlier this month over a sexual-misbehavior grievance, which Eckhart confirmed as part of her complaint.
The suit alleges that Henry used his power over Eckhart and threatened her of the repercussions if she won’t give in to her advances.
Eckhart, who is also a previous Fox Business associate producer, also indicted Henry of capturing sexually explicit images without her consent.
The suit further noted that Fox News was aware of the allegations against Eckhart since 2017, but di not took any actions. She also claimed the agency deliberately disregarded her then unidentified accusations against Henry when network executives fired him and notified crew members in a memo.
In the same lawsuit, former Fox News analyst Cathy Areu claimed she was sexually abused by Henry, along with Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Gianno Caldwell, and Howard Kurtz, all famous hosts.
Areu added that Henry forwarded her a series of unwarranted lewd messages and images.
She claimed Tucker Carlson, a primetime commentator, pursued her to have sex following her December 2018 show appearance. When Areu rejected Carlson, she appeared less often in the program.
Fox refuted the allegations made by Areu’s versus Fox and all hosts except Henry, saying that those were false. On a statement to Business Insider, Fox commented that both Eckhart and Areu should focus instead with Henry, and not include the network.
Meanwhile, counsel for Eckhart and Areu, Michael Willemin, told Business Insider that Fox waited three years before reprimanding Henry, who was accused of multiple other sexual misconduct allegations in 2017.
