Secret Service Closes Investigation on Cocaine Found at White House: No Suspects Identified

In what some are calling an abrupt end to a high-profile investigation, the Secret Service announced on Thursday that it has closed its investigation into the cocaine discovered at the White House earlier this month.
The agency cites a lack of physical evidence as the reason it cannot “single out a person of interest.”
On July 2nd, the cocaine was found “inside a receptacle used to temporarily store electronic and personal devices prior to entering the West Wing.”
Following the discovery, the Secret Service embarked on a thorough review of security systems and protocols, establishing an index of several hundred individuals who may have accessed the area where the substance was found.
The FBI’s lab results, received by the Secret Service on Wednesday, “did not develop latent fingerprints and insufficient DNA was present for investigative comparisons.”
The FBI also confirmed that the substance found was indeed cocaine.
However, the Secret Service stated that without physical evidence, they are unable to identify a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the area where the cocaine was discovered.
The absence of surveillance footage that could provide investigative leads was another setback.
Meanwhile, Republican lawmakers voiced their concerns.
Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., questioned the Secret Service about specific security measures in place for the lockers where the cocaine was found.
She was informed that the key to locker number 50, where the cocaine was discovered, is missing.
She also learned that there are no logs or video surveillance of the lockers.
“Instead, they are quickly wanting to close this investigation and move on to the next Biden crime crisis,” Boebert stated.
On the other hand, Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., who sits on the House Oversight Committee, said, “I’m not going to go down the rabbit hole.”
Despite this, she expressed her frustration, stating that every time something unsavory happens around the White House, answers are never found.
This incident took place while President Biden and his family were away at Camp David, which has led some of Biden’s critics to question whether the administration is truly interested in identifying the individual responsible.

I have worked in security almost 2 decades. What they are reporting are lies.
– These lockers are a high priority area for placement of security cameras. To say they didn’t have any cameras in that area is to accuse the Secret Service of being full of security morons. I don’t believe that is the case and neither should you.
– Since it is a locker there would also be fingerprints on the locker. According to this no tests were done for prints there. Again, no one competent in security would overlook this.
– Any standard security protocol includes a corrective action plan. If you do have gaps in your security, it is important to address them. There were two prior times where drugs were found in this area. So, it’s inconceivable to believe that any lapses, like the claimed no security cameras in the area, wasn’t addressed. Once again, what they are saying is that the Secret Service is full of a bunch of morons when it comes to security. That is a lie.
– Meanwhile the White House has an unnamed “official” making statements to the media about how security cameras operate and why they are unlikely to find the owner of the coke that are factually false.
– We also have many other false statements being made on facts of the case that were readily known. Like exactly where the coke was found, what was the substance found, whether or not they had public tours through that area during the window of time when the coke was placed there.
No, these aren’t the earmarks of a security investigation. These are the earmarks of a cover-up.

LEFTSHOT you are 1000% correct.I also worked security in Va. and this whole thing is nothing but a cover up. Every one involved in it should be charged with hindering an investigation at the very least. We all know how the coke got there and who has the key they claim can’t be found.
