Clear Facts
- Former NFL Pro Bowler Marcellus Wiley was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday and charged with domestic battery

Marcellus Wiley, the 51-year-old former NFL Pro Bowler and sports broadcaster, was arrested on domestic battery charges Saturday by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Court records confirm Wiley is currently being held without bond.
Law enforcement officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding Wiley’s arrest at this time.
The arrest comes amid serious allegations that have recently surfaced against the former defensive end. In April 2026, four women came forward with accusations of sexual assault against Wiley, according to reports.
These accusations follow earlier lawsuits filed by three other women who alleged Wiley raped them while he was a student-athlete at Columbia University, where he played college football. Wiley has vigorously denied these allegations.
“Alleged misrepresentations,” Wiley stated on his “More To It with Marcellus Wiley” podcast, claiming he possessed evidence to refute the claims.
Regarding the Columbia allegations specifically, Wiley called them “B.S.”
Wiley is married to Annemarie Wiley, who previously appeared on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
According to reports, two of the women alleging sexual assault claim the incidents occurred between 1995 and 1999. Another woman has made deeply troubling allegations that Wiley groomed her from age 13 while he played for the Buffalo Bills, then allegedly assaulted her when she turned 18 in Dallas while he was with the Cowboys.
“Marcellus Wiley raped me on my 18th birthday, after grooming me from the age of 13. If Columbia had properly pursued the complaints… I would never have been groomed and raped,” the alleged victim stated in court filings.
A fourth woman, a former ESPN production assistant, alleges Wiley deceived her into meeting him in a hotel room under the pretense of a work meeting in 2009, where she claims he sexually assaulted her. Wiley has worked as a broadcaster for both ESPN and FOX Sports.
“The assault was devastating to me, and I will live with the effects to this day,” the woman wrote in court documents.
Wiley enjoyed a successful NFL career spanning a decade. The Buffalo Bills selected him with the 52nd overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft out of Columbia, where he spent his first four professional seasons.
He earned his only Pro Bowl selection in 2001 while playing for the San Diego Chargers, where he starred for three seasons. Wiley also had stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars before retiring after the 2006 season.
