Kennedy stated, “I think Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is the leader of the Democratic Party today.” He acknowledged that some might consider Senator Chuck Schumer as the leader, but pointed out Schumer’s low approval ratings, which were highlighted as being “at a 17% approval rating today, 17! Democrats are in the 20s.”

The senator’s remarks come amidst Ocasio-Cortez’s involvement in an “anti-oligarchy” tour, which targets figures like former President Donald Trump and White House senior advisor Elon Musk.
