Stormy Daniels, the famed porn actress, writer, and director, recently spoke to Page Six about receiving PornHub’s lifetime achievement award and the regrets she has had in her long career. In an exclusive interview with the publication, she disclosed that her alleged 2006 tryst with the future President Donald Trump stands out as her biggest regret. She claimed that she had sex with Trump at a resort in Lake Tahoe, California, and not going to that hotel room is something she wishes she could have done differently.

Despite Trump’s not guilty plea earlier this month on charges related to alleged hush-money payments to Daniels, he has consistently denied her claim. When asked if it would all be worthwhile if the scandal prevented Trump from being re-elected in 2024, Daniels replied that it depends on who would get elected instead, stating that it could be even worse.

Although she did not disclose which White House front runners she would consider a step down from the 45th president, early contenders for the Republican ticket include Florida governor Ron DeSantis and former ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley.

Daniels, who is set to release a feature film titled “Redemption,” which she directed for Adam & Eve Films, later this summer, didn’t hold back in expressing her views on advocacy for the adult industry, sex worker rights, and sex positivity. She shared that she’s very much involved in promoting and protecting those in the industry and working to change laws that were discriminatory to performers and sex workers. Daniels said, “I have worked to promote and protect those of us in the industry.”

Stormy Daniels’ statement about her regret with Trump’s alleged tryst has sparked mixed reactions. While some may argue that she brought the scandal upon herself by engaging in an extramarital affair with a then-candidate for the presidency, others may see it as a personal regret that she has been courageous enough to share. Her work in the adult industry has been both controversial and influential, and her views on advocacy for sex workers and sex positivity have garnered much attention. Whether you agree with her or not, her views and opinions are a reminder that the adult industry, and the people involved in it, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
