WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said he is planning to send busloads of undocumented immigrants to Capitol in DC so the Biden administration can address their needs.
  • The plan would involve hiring hundreds of charter buses.
  • The move comes as the Biden administration would end Title 42 in May.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said Wednesday his state will be sending charter buses of migrants to the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. as part of “unprecedented actions” to address the expected surge of migrants at the southern border.

Additional planned actions include “enhanced” inspections of vehicles, boat blockades, deployment of razor wire at “lower-water crossings and high-traffic areas” and the National Guard beginning “mass-migration rehearsals.”

The Republican governor also ordered the Texas Division of Emergency Management to start hiring charter buses to take migrants to D.C.

“The Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border,” Abbott said during Wednesday’s news conference.

The buses’ first stop “will be the steps of the United States Capitol,” Abbott said.

The moves come after the Biden administration announced the ending of Title 42 in May. The order was issued by the Trump administration during the pandemic era to allow U.S. immigration officials to ban migrants and asylum-seekers.

“The federal government is planning for up to 18,000 illegal immigrants crossing per day,” Abbott said. “We have potentially more people who will be crossing our border illegally by the end of this year than live in Los Angeles.”

Republican Senator Ted Cruz showed his support for Abbott’s plans by tweeting a list of additional sites to which the buses of migrants should be sent.

Former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke accused Abbott of choosing “stunts over solutions.”

O’Rourke is now running for governor in this year’s race against the Republican incumbent.

In the past two years, U.S. immigration authorities Citing have carried out more than 1.7 million expulsions of migrants under Title 42, with 70% of them under the current administration. Despite reversing other Trump border policies, Biden retained Title 42.

On April 1, the Biden administration announced that it would gradually end Title 42 in late May.

During an interview on “CBS Evening News” on Wednesday, anchor Norah O’Donnell asked Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas if the end of Title 42 would lead to a surge of migrants.

He said, “It’s very difficult to predict what the migration will be, but we are planning for different scenarios.”

“What distinguishes us from the past is the fact that we will not implement policies of cruelty that disregard our asylum laws,” Mayorkas added. “We are rebuilding a system that was entirely dismantled.”

Love Gov Abbott’s idea of sending illegals to Wash DC. Now, make sure the gov has to care for them using the DC money, and not the money from our states!

    Just a thought, but…

Fly them to within a 8 hour bus ride, then load them on buses for the final leg.

May cost a bit more, but the time factor and the planes hold a lot more than a bus does.

cuts the travel expenses of fuel, feeding, bathroom breaks, driver changes, etc.

How Eisenhower solved illegal border crossings from Mexico
July 6, 2006 By John Dillin =====> > > Note the archive date!

    WASHINGTON
George W. Bush isn’t the first Republican president to face a full-blown immigration crisis on the US-Mexican border.

Fifty-three years ago, when newly elected Dwight Eisenhower moved into the White House, America’s southern frontier was as porous as a spaghetti sieve. As many as 3 million illegal migrants had walked and waded northward over a period of several years for jobs in California, Arizona, Texas, and points beyond.

President Eisenhower cut off this illegal traffic. He did it quickly and decisively with only 1,075 United States Border Patrol agents – less than one-tenth of today’s force. The operation is still highly praised among veterans of the Border Patrol.

Ever wonder why Congress, Texas and Arizona caved the next 70 years to the ranchers and farmers after President Eisenhower ran all the illegal aliens out?? …………………………….Bribes perhaps?? Ya, that was it.

Gov. Abbott, border crossings by illegal aliens, foreign terrorists and drug cartels will continue, ….IF YOU LET THEM IN!
…………………………………..Xidens and Obama’s past immigration E.O.’s are NOT law and can be ignored!

The FED’s, TSA, DHS, US Marshall’s, Border Patrol and ICE, have been following ILLEGAL E.O.’s for over 13 years instead of enforcing “”existing”” immigration laws.

Arizona/Texas citizens continue to suffer the deadly consequences.

The Fed’s are cowards and traitors protecting their pensions instead of doing their sworn job and Congress lets it happen!

Arizona/Texas. Forget the lame lawsuits. Those will take years.

Arizona/Texas Rangers, Police and their National Guards must kick all the Feds out, take over and seal the border!

That is better than changing diapers and getting shot at!
