“Delcy Rodríguez will pay a very big price, probably bigger than Maduro, if she fails to do what’s right,” Trump stated in an interview.

He emphasized, “Rebuilding there and regime change, anything you want to call it, is better than what you have right now. Can’t get any worse.”

The White House declined to comment further at the time.

Trump announced that an American-appointed team would govern Venezuela until its internal political situation improved.

He also pledged future U.S. energy investments in Venezuela, highlighting the country’s significant oil resources.

Trump described his foreign policy as a contemporary version of the Monroe Doctrine, dubbed the “Donroe Doctrine.”

He implied that the U.S. would continue exerting pressure internationally, possibly impacting other nations beyond Latin America.

Trump again referenced U.S. strategic interests in Greenland, noting its national security value and location.

“We do need Greenland, absolutely,” said Trump, reinforcing his position on the matter.
