Podcaster Joe Rogan and comedian Andrew Schulz discussed Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent remarks during her book tour.

They suggested Harris’s return to the spotlight and bold statements might give the GOP added momentum.

During a discussion with journalist Kara Swisher, Harris said, “Some people have actually said I was the most qualified candidate ever to run for president.”

Swisher replied, “I like the ‘some people say,’ very nice, but go ahead.”

Rogan mocked Harris for using phrases reminiscent of Trump’s style and questioned the credibility of the claim.

He pointed out, “You are literally running against a guy who was already president. So, if you’re going based on your resume, you’re not more [qualified than Biden]. Biden was the vice president of the United States for eight years!”

Schulz commented that Harris’s book tour actually highlighted for many Republicans the reasons she struggled in her campaign.

During the event, Harris reignited debate over her choice of running mate and past controversial comments.

Rogan also brought up Harris’s 2021 Columbus Day remarks, saying, “Did you see her Columbus Day message to America?… Don’t forget the horrors that the Europeans did to the — OK. Jesus Christ. Scolding!”

He joked about Harris criticizing European explorers, stating, “Columbus is the only immigrant they hate.”

Harris’s office did not provide a response to these criticisms.
