WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • About 100 migrants were released directly onto the streets of El Paso as Border Patrol facilities and local nonprofit shelters had reached capacity.
  • Border authorities released the migrants near a Downtown bus station on early Sunday morning.
  • There is a surge of immigrants arriving at the US-Mexico border ahead of the Biden administration’s plans to end Title 42.

Border authorities released about 100 migrants into downtown El Paso, Texas as Border Patrol facilities and local nonprofit shelters had reached capacity, according to the El Paso Times.

The migrants were released before dawn on Sunday. Some had already made plans to go to other cities, while those who are too broke to leave or book a hotel remained on El Paso streets or at the airport.

The released immigrants have passed the initial steps in their asylum cases. They have been authorized to stay in the U.S. until a judge makes a decision. The ruling can often take years.

When federal authorities released the migrants, they provide an address to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) so the agency can track them. They must also check in regularly as they move through the legal process.

It is the first time immigrants have been released into the streets of El Pase since 2019.

The surge of immigrants arriving at the US-Mexico border is expected ahead of the anticipated lifting of Title 42. Immigration officials have been using the health policy to block an estimated 1.7 million immigrants to enter the country since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Biden administration plans to end Title 42 on May 23 but a court temporarily blocks the lifting of Title 42 border restrictions. Some states are asking the courts to keep Title 42 in place. They argued that they cannot handle the possible 18,000 immigrants a day that could come to the border once Title 42 is lifted.

The federal judge hearing the case has vowed to make a final ruling before May 23.

According to the El Paso Times, El Paso Border Patrol resources are maxed out. Agents are reportedly detaining over 1,000 immigrants a day despite only having a capacity to shelter 1,700 people.

The Annunciation House, the local shelter where migrants are often housed before moving on to their final destination, says it’s also strained.

“Our capacity is slowly — and I would underline the word slowly — increasing,” Annunciation House executive director Ruben Garcia told the paper. “But it’s been very, very challenging because of the issue of the volunteers.”

They are illegal aliens – not migrants. This needs to stop..it’s all about leftists and democrats attempting to build up their voter base.

Border crossings by illegal aliens, foreign terrorists and drug cartels will continue, ….IF YOU LET THEM IN!
Xidens and Obama’s past immigration E.O.’s are NOT law and can be ignored!

The FED’s, TSA, DHS, US Marshall’s, Border Patrol and ICE, have been following ILLEGAL E.O.’s for over 13 years instead of enforcing “”existing”” immigration laws.

Arizona/Texas citizens continue to suffer the deadly consequences.

The Fed’s are cowards and traitors protecting their pensions instead of doing their sworn job and Congress lets it happen!

Arizona/Texas. Forget the lawsuits. That will take years.

Arizona/Texas Rangers, Police and their National Guards must kick all the Feds out, take over and seal the border!

That is better than changing diapers and getting shot at!

How Eisenhower solved illegal border crossings from Mexico

    WASHINGTON
George W. Bush isn’t the first Republican president to face a full-blown immigration crisis on the US-Mexican border.

Fifty-three years ago, when newly elected Dwight Eisenhower moved into the White House, America’s southern frontier was as porous as a spaghetti sieve. As many as 3 million illegal migrants had walked and waded northward over a period of several years for jobs in California, Arizona, Texas, and points beyond.

President Eisenhower cut off this illegal traffic. He did it quickly and decisively with only 1,075 United States Border Patrol agents – less than one-tenth of today’s force. The operation is still highly praised among veterans of the Border Patrol.

Ever wonder why Congress, Texas and Arizona caved the next 70 years to the ranchers and farmers after President Eisenhower ran all the illegal aliens out? …………….Bribes perhaps?? Ya, that was it.

What happened to busing them to DC and Lying Corrupt Quid pro’s hometown in Delaware. I’m sure the residents of Wilmington wouldn’t mind and influx of 250,000 illegals.
