WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • On Sunday, Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, shared a photo of him on Instagram with a ‘Don Jr 2024’ banner.
  • Trump Jr. has accused Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden of being the “most corrupt and compromised presidential candidate.”
  • Trump Jr. called out Twitter and its CEO Jack Dorsey following the company’s censorship of the New York Post article about the Bidens alleged corruption in Ukraine.

Sparking rumors of running for the presidency after his father’s tenure, the president’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr. posed in front of ‘Don Jr 2024’ sign and shared the photo on Instagram on Sunday.

During the Fallon Nevada Livestock Auction on Wednesday, Trump Jr. saw the huge banner which caught his attention and had a photo op with the caption “Hahahahaha. Oh boy. This was a sign I saw up at the Fallon Nevada Livestock Auction.”

“This will make the lib heads explode. To whoever made that thanks for the compliment… but let’s get through 2020 with a big win first!!!!,” the caption added.

Hours before the second and final debate of President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, Trump Jr. made derogatory remarks against his dad’s rival, accusing the former vice president of being the “most corrupt and compromised candidate.”

“If journalists bothered to look into Biden and his family like they did to my family for the last four years,” he tweeted. “The Democrats wouldn’t be in a situation where their nominee could be the most corrupt and compromised candidate in the history of American presidential politics.”

Since the alleged Ukrainian dealings of the Bidens were published by the New York Post particularly about a “smoking gun email” from Vadym Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden, Trump Jr. has capitalized the controversy.

In 2014, Hunter was part of the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company where Pozharskyi served as an adviser. During the same period, the former vice president was working with the US’ foreign policy with Ukraine.

Social media giants Facebook and Twitter restricted the article, saying they don’t want to spread a likely ‘fake news’ story.

In a tweet last week, Trump Jr. called out Twitter and the company’s CEO Jack Dorsey, arguing that an investigation should be conducted because of their political interference “to protect Biden.”

“But to find out if they’re censoring these NY Post stories at the behest of the Chinese Communist Party. Put Jack under oath!!!,” he said.

Admitting Twitter’s mistake, Dorsey called the censoring of the story “unacceptable.”

Alongside the alleged emails of their Ukrainian dealings, the article also claimed that a video was found where Hunter was seen “smoking crack during a sex act.”

Biden’s critics have often brought up the alleged corruption anomaly and scrutinized his relations with Ukraine.
