WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • More than 1 million voters in 43 states switched to the GOP in the last year.
  • According to AP, 630,000 became Democrats based on voter registration data.
  • The party switches were most significant in the suburbs of large and medium cities.

More than one million voters in the U.S. have switched their affiliation to the Republican Party over the past year, according to the Associated Press. This signals a warning for Democrats in the 2022 midterm elections.

The GOP gained the most from the suburbs of large and medium cities. Those voters supported President Joe Biden in the 2020 elections but are now struggling with inflation. They are also becoming increasingly critical of Democratic social issues.

Over the past 12 months, an estimated 1.7 million Americans have changed their party affiliation. Two-thirds of those (more than 1 million voters) have switched to the GOP, while only 630,000 have switched to become Democrats, the report said.

The voter trend is yet another signal that the GOP is set to flip Congress and state governments across the U.S. in the midterms.

Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel attributed the big switch to the GOP to “Biden’s gas hike, the open border crisis, baby formula shortage and rising crime.”

“Biden and Democrats are woefully out of touch with the American people, and that’s why voters are flocking to the Republican Party in droves,” McDaniel told Fox News Digital in a statement. “American suburbs will trend red for cycles to come.”

Biden’s administration is struggling to combat skyrocketing gas prices, as well as inflation that sits at a record 40-year high.

Some Democrat lawmakers have criticized the White House’s response to the economic crises, saying the president is being too passive.

“I support the president’s efforts, but we need a bolder vision and faster action,” Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., wrote in an op-ed for the New York Times earlier in June.

“To meet the moment, Mr. Biden should convene an emergency task force empowered to lower prices and address shortages. We need an all-out mobilization, not just a few ad hoc initiatives reacting to headlines,” he added.

Why would ANYONE vote Democrap????? Even the people back in 1860 had the good sense to kick the democrats to the curb…….and for 25 years! The newly founded republican party held the White House for 25 straight years, from 1860- 1885. Let’s make that happen again!!!!

As long as democrats remain in power, the situation will continue to get worse. The radical left who are controlling our country care nothing for our country or it’s people, only about more power and control. And they are more than happy to destroy our country to get it, while the citizens struggle to survive and pay the price for their power grab.

As a person gets older , they realize that memories are all that are left . If we are not very careful , that will be the only thing left for us , and our children , and their children will have no idea of what life was for us .

Democrats always find a way to cheat their way to victory. They will do it again. No doubt!
