On Monday, Trump made an unexpected announcement, stating, “We are tomorrow announcing and giving all of the Kennedy files…I don’t believe we are going to redact anything…it’s going to be very interesting…approximately 80,000 pages.”

The files were subsequently made public on Tuesday evening. Although some documents appeared to be partially redacted, others that were previously obscured have now been unveiled. This release marks a significant step in providing transparency to a case that has intrigued the public for decades.

President Trump emphasized the importance of this disclosure, stating, “So people have been waiting for decades for this, and I’ve reached out to my people.”

He further added, “We have a tremendous amount of paper and a lot of reading. I don’t believe we are going to redact anything. I said ‘just don’t redact it, you can’t redact it.'”

The National Archives had previously released nearly 3,000 records related to the JFK assassination in 2017. More recently, the FBI discovered an additional 2,400 records that had not been recognized as pertinent to the case.

Meanwhile, the Department of Justice continues its efforts to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that the DOJ and DNI Gabbard are “working…diligently” on this task, though no timeline has been provided.

The initial release of Epstein files faced criticism for lacking significant revelations. AG Bondi has accused the FBI’s New York Field Office of withholding thousands of pages, demanding their full release.
