Florida doctor no longer accepts unvaccinated patients in-person
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- A Florida doctor has announced she won’t see any more patients in person who are not vaccinated against Covid-19.
- The family physician has said, “We will no longer subject our patients and staff to unnecessary risk.”
- Florida is struggling with the worst phase of Covid yet, with new cases reaching nearly 25,000 a day due to Delta.
A Florida doctor says she will no longer accept in-person visits from patients who are not vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Dr. Linda Marraccini sent a letter to her patients, notifying them that she will no longer continue in-person services for unvaccinated patients beginning Sept. 15.
The South Miami wrote that her practice will “no longer subject our patients and staff to unnecessary risk.”
“This is a public health emergency — the health of the public takes priority over the rights of any given individual in this situation,” she wrote, according to NBC Miami.
“It appears that there is a lack of selflessness and concern for the burden on the health and well-being of our society from our encounters,” Marraccini continued.
In an interview with Newsweek, the family physician said unvaccinated patients will be seen through virtual meetings. She added she would still make exceptions if patients cannot get the vaccine due to hardships or need prescriptions.
Marraccini said her decision doesn’t violate the Hippocratic oath because her policy is in the best interest of her other patients, some of which have low immune system defense or are on chemotherapy.
“The Hippocratic Oath is very science-based. I am following the science. I’m applying this to the benefit of the sick,” she told the news outlet.
Marraccini’s policy comes as Florida becomes the epicenter of the most recent surge in coronavirus cases driven by the delta variant.
A state data released Friday shows Florida reported 129,240 cases and 433 deaths for the week of Aug. 27 to Sept. 2. Fifty-five percent of the state’s population has been fully vaccinated, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Marraccini isn’t the first doctor to announce such a policy. Last month, Jason Valentine, a doctor in Alabama, announced that he would no longer see unvaccinated patients beginning Oct. 1.

Florida was forced to take in illegals that have Covid that’s why the spread is happening in Florida. Illegals coming in through our border are not being tested regardless of what they tell you. Then they transport them throughout the United States therefore spreading Covid to United States citizens.

I am glad she has taken a stand. More doctors need to do this. Whether the high number of cases is due to local population refusing to vaccinate, or caused by immigration – she is doing what is best for her patients and that is the kind of doctor I want. Definitely those calling for her license to be revoked need to have their heads examined! Thank you Doctor Marraccini for your bravery and standing for your patients who are vaccinated and trying their best to stop the spread!

She claims to be basing her decision on science. This is a typical Libtard who does the opposite. So she won’t take someone who had Covid and is less likely to get covid again or spread it. Actually, she should take only those who have already had covid to be real safe.

Explain this: It is a proven fact that vaccinated people can be spreaders/ shedders of the Covid virus. All the so-called vaccine does is suppress the symptoms so how is it logical to refuse to see unvaccinated patients? This reasoning is totally unscientific. Many people have their own antibodies which are more effective than having the jab!

You know all you negative nancies that are saying “Revoke her license ” believe it’s your right not to be vaccinated. Well it’s her right not to service you too. We all have our rights and I don’t blame her. she’s not only protecting herself she’s protecting her staff and all her other patients. Use your head

Who cares.
I wouldn’t take my dog to this arrogant, red headed witch.
Justice will be served, and she will eventually eat her words–assuming she’s dumb enough to get the jab herself; which is highly likely.
