ICE Selects New Destination for MS-13 Suspect
Clear Facts
- ICE notified Kilmar Abrego Garcia of his deportation to Eswatini, Africa, after previously planning removal to Uganda.
- Deportation was delayed by an Obama-appointed judge pending an evidentiary hearing.
- Abrego Garcia claimed fear of persecution in at least 22 countries, resulting in changes to his removal destination.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) informed alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia on Friday that he will be deported to Eswatini, Africa. A Department of Homeland Security staffer confirmed this update.
Plans to deport Abrego Garcia were on hold since August after a federal judge appointed by President Obama ordered he remain detained in the United States for an evidentiary hearing.
Although the Trump administration originally intended to deport him to Uganda, ICE changed the location after Garcia claimed fear of persecution or torture in Uganda.
“As you know, the United States seeks to remove you from the United States based on your final order of removal. Currently, you are designated to be removed to Uganda,” the ICE email stated.
“Your attorney has informed us, however, that you fear persecution or torture in Uganda. That claim of fear is hard to take seriously, especially given that you have claimed (through your attorneys) that you fear persecution or torture in at least 22 different countries.”
These countries include El Salvador, Uganda, Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Haiti.
“Nonetheless, we hereby notify you that your new country of removal is Eswatini, Africa,” the email concluded.
Democrats pushed to return Garcia to the U.S. after his removal and detention in El Salvador by the Trump administration, and by June, he was brought back to face human smuggling charges.
He was released from a Tennessee prison on August 22, then again taken into ICE custody, as the administration sought to remove him to Africa or Central America. Judge Paula Xinis then halted the deportation, stating federal officials were “absolutely forbidden at this juncture to remove Mr. Abrego Garcia from the continental United States.”
According to attorneys, Garcia was offered the choice between pleading guilty and being deported to Costa Rica after serving a sentence, or direct removal to Uganda.

I used to think online income was fake, but then I gave this a chance. Now I’m earning $180+ daily (USD) and my friend recently hit $15k in one month with it. It’s simple and flexible…

The USA has a mountain of problems with illegals. Not an enviable task dealing with it.

I don’t understand why he can decide where he doesn’t want to be deported to outside of his home country. Give a choice of 5 countries and tell him if he can’t choose, ICE will choose for him OR he can plead guilty to human smuggling, period. He keeps forgetting that he’s the criminal.

It’s time to end the leftist judges game. How much has that piece of slime cost taxpayers. He has an order of deportation, so deport him.

Personally, I would deport this cretin to the nearest graveyard, right after he had been executed by the firing squad, which is what he richly deserves.
