Over footage that showed Biden, 77, and wife Jill greeting voters of all ages before the pandemic and fully masked afterwards, Pitt, who lent his voice to the ad says:

“America is a place for everyone—those who chose this county, those who fought for it—some Republicans, some Democrats, and most, just somewhere in between, all looking for the same thing: Someone who understands their hopes, their dreams, their pain, to listen, to bring people together. To get up every day and work to make life better for families like yours. To look you in the eye, treat you with respect, and tell you the truth. To work just as hard for the people who voted for him as those who didn’t. To be a president for all Americans.”

The 60-second ad called ‘Make Life Better’ that was aired during Game 4 of the MLB World Series, ended with a video clip of Biden and wife crossing the stage while the ‘Biden Harris’ logo flashes on the screen with Biden saying:  ‘I approve this message.’

Over the years, Pitt, 56, has supported Democratic candidates, having backed Barack Obama during his 2008 and 2012 presidential races and has also visited the White House in 2012 during Biden’s vice-presidency.

While he’s not as outspoken as some of his fellow stars, he has shared some political views on a few occasions including the 2019 Oscars where he made a reference to Trump’s impeachment trial in his acceptance speech for best supporting actor. Another was when he made jokes about the president when he appeared on Saturday Night Live as Dr.  Anthony Fauci over the summer.

The Pitt campaign ad comes as the latest in a string of adverts placed by the Biden campaign in each World Series game and several other sought-after programs such as five NFL games.

While Biden’s campaign did not share details regarding the cost of the ad and its primetime spot during the World Series, CNN reported that the ad buy was around $4million-just shy of what the campaign spent on advertising in Iowa this fall.
