Prince Harry Visits UK Alone Amid Royal Rift

Prince Harry traveled solo from California to the UK on the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. He visited her burial site at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor and laid a wreath to honor her memory.
Queen Elizabeth died on September 8, 2022, at 96 years old, and Harry’s visit was marked by a private moment of reflection. His wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children did not accompany him on this trip.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams noted that Harry’s attendance was expected, but pointed out lingering tensions due to actions taken by Harry and Meghan. “Since he has arrived in Britain on the third anniversary of the Queen’s death, it is only fitting that Harry pays his private respects at her grave at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. However, it will not be forgotten that he and Meghan made Queen Elizabeth’s last year’s extremely difficult.”
There has been much speculation about whether King Charles or Prince William would meet with Harry. Fitzwilliams said this is highly unlikely, citing strained relationships.
“It seems certain that William will not be seeing his errant brother during his four-day visit this week. They reportedly have not spoken for about three years.”
He added, “There has been a good deal of speculation about whether King Charles will see Prince Harry. It does seem unlikely as the royal family, understandably, do not trust the Sussexes.”
While in Britain, Harry is also attending the WellChild Awards, an event honoring seriously ill children that he has long supported. Royal expert Helena Chard said, “Prince Harry, I mean, obviously he’s over here for a job. He’s doing the WellChild Awards. It’s the 20th anniversary, which is something also that’s close to his heart.”
During the event, Harry spoke with young people and referenced the challenges of sibling relationships.
“Does he drive you mad?” Harry asked one recipient about his younger brother. When told they get along, Harry responded, “That sometimes makes it more challenging.’’
Harry has largely been estranged from his family since he and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020, citing lack of support and media pressures. Tensions grew further after their candid interviews and Harry’s memoir “Spare,” which revealed private family details.
Harry expressed his wish for reconciliation earlier this year, saying, “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. I don’t know how much longer my father has.” However, King Charles has not met with Harry in person since February 2024, after Charles’ cancer diagnosis was made public.
Harry’s visit to London occurs while King Charles is believed to be at Balmoral Castle, where the Queen passed away. The royal family’s ongoing distance illustrates the difficulties in mending these deep family divisions.

I totally agree. Harry was a pretty decent guy before Oprah Winfrey introduces him to Markel. His best move is to bite the bullet, cut his losses and divorce her. She has been nothing but trouble for him. She drags him around by the ring in his nose. Disgusting to see. His great-uncle Prince Edward was the rightful heir to the British throne until he met the American whore Wallace Simpson and abdicated. It should be pretty obvious to figure out why he did it.

Harry is never to be trusted again. He trashed his family, she trashed her family, and now, she dominates him. He does not even know how to think for himself. It is time for him to get a real job. Like 9-5 and five days a week. I really believe his Spare book was her idea and she encouraged the worst.
