DC Mayor calls in National Guard to deal with busloads of migrants from Texas, Arizona [Video]

- Sen. Ted Cruz said if 4,000 migrants is a ‘tipping point’, then more actions should be done at the southern border
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is calling on the National Guard to be activated to help deal with the migration crisis in the nation’s capital after Texas and Arizona launched an initiative to send asylum-seekers there.
‘The pace of arriving buses and the volume of arrivals have reached tipping points,’ Bowser wrote in a letter to the Biden administration. ‘Our collective response and service efforts have now become overwhelmed.’
‘Tragically, many families arrive in Washington, DC with nowhere to go, or they remain in limbo seeking onward destinations across the United States,’ she added.
Bowser said that the migrant crisis landing on the front door of the nation’s capital has reached a ‘tipping point’ with more than 4,000 people arriving so far after crossing the border illegally from Mexico.
She also dubbed it a ‘humanitarian crisis’ requiring the involvement of the National Guard and requested that the D.C. Armory be used as a processing center.
Sen. Ted Cruz reacted in a tweet, writing if 4,000 migrants is a ‘tipping point’, then more actions should be done at the southern border.
The goal of Republican Govs. Greg Abbott of Texas and Doug Ducey of Arizona was to show national leaders the crisis that border states are facing as they feel largely ignored by the administration.
The D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency along with Bowser sent letters to the Office of the Secretary of Defense on July 19 – and then followed up with letters to President Joe Biden on July 22.
Without its own National Guard presence, D.C. will have to rely on other states to offer up members of their own domestic service to help out.
Abbott started shipping migrants from his state to D.C. in mid-April – and Ducey followed suit a month later.
Since the start of the initiative, more than 125 buses have transported 4,8000 migrants from Tex border communities the 2,000 miles to D.C. Another 27 buses carrying more than 1,000 passengers from Arizona have arrived in the nation’s capital.

Is it not funny how they are so eager to let them in by the millions to prey upon the rest of us and destroy our social system and our country, yet, they claim that it is a crisis if they have 4000 to deal with? Now they know just a fraction of what the rest of the country is having to deal with. Their socialist policies are destroying our country, all in the name of gaining more and more control over us and more political power. They could not care less about our country and it’s legal citizens, who they swore oaths of office to serve and protect. Todays leftist serve only themselves and their one God, political power.

Since the press actually talked about this very , very minor story just proves the the so called press is totally one sided. Plus if the story goes against the party they support them it is not covered, or is twisted to minimize any party pushbacks. Just look at Hunter’s documentary list that the press, and party members all pushed down to keep quiet. Plus don’t you like the economy? Don’t you like having the items made in other countries? We are only seeing the beginning.

Again open the gates with no plan on what to do with all the illegals once they get here. Biden has no control over the American/veterans that are homeless and now flooding America with homeless unemployed Illegals. Stupid is as Stupid does. Considering the “FACT” that Harris told HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF POVERTY STRICKEN PEOPLE “DO NOT COME” HERE AND THEY DID ANYWAY (Wich by exact definition is a INVASION) the door has been proven to be left open for drug smugglers, terrorists and other criminal entities from around the world to sneak in with them…
I noticed that the percentage of the people that have come here that have not begun the process of being documented is never talked about…

I applaud Texas & Arizona for busing the illegal immigrants to Washington DC!! Now, let the other border states do the same. DC is my home town & I don’t want to see it destroyed. It is a beautiful city. But, I also know that the politicians in DC don’t care one iota about the problems other cities have unless & until it hits their back door. Even Baltimore, as close as it is to DC is not close enough to get their attention.
When rioting, looting, burning & killing was rampant in Portland, LA, Kenosha, Minneapolis, NYC, Baltimore, Atlanta – Almost nothing was done to stop & prosecute it. But they are hunting heads everywhere & spending a small fortune on the people who attacked the Capitol building. A little too close for comfort, eh?
Send them ALL to DC & let them wake up Joe, KH, Pelosi & the rest of them to actually DO THEIR JOBS!!
