This violent protest came just one day after border patrol agents fatally shot Alex Pretti, 37, during an incident where authorities claimed he was armed.
Video footage showed agents tackling Pretti before the shooting, with the Department of Homeland Security stating he had a gun, while his family insists he was licensed to carry.
Tensions escalated further as these events followed another ICE-related fatality involving Renee Good 17 days prior.
In the aftermath, city officials faced growing concerns over public safety and law enforcement responsiveness in Minneapolis.
