Several Arrested Connected To Actor’s Death: Sheds Light on Hollywood’s Hidden Drug Network

Several arrests have been made in connection to the tragic loss of actor Matthew Perry, known for his starring role in the hit television series, “Friends”. Perry’s death was ruled as an accidental overdose, with two Californian doctors and a notorious narcotics trafficker being amongst those arrested.

Investigators are seeking to determine who supplied Perry with the ketamine that led to his fatal overdose on Oct. 28, 2023, at the age of 54. In addition to the previously mentioned individuals, Perry’s live-in personal assistant and another alleged drug dealer have also been charged in relation to the actor’s death.

Search warrants were carried out across multiple locations, leading to the confiscation of computers, phones, and other electronic devices. Evidence from these sources is crucial to the ongoing investigations. So far, several arrests have already been made, including at least one doctor.

North Hollywood resident, Jasveen Sangha, is a key figure in this case. Sangha is accused of supplying the lethal dose of ketamine to Perry’s assistant. The indictment also points to another arrested individual, Kenneth Iwamasa, who is said to have administered the fatal injection.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia is also mentioned in the indictment, accused of providing the syringe used by Iwamasa and having distributed ketamine to Perry and his assistant on other occasions.

Perry’s death has instigated a multi-agency investigation involving the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U. S. Postal Service, and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Their aim is to expose the illegal drug ring that contributed to Perry’s untimely death. It has been established that the ketamine Perry ingested was not legally prescribed.

While Perry was known to be receiving ketamine infusion therapy for his anxiety and depression, the drug found in his system at the time of his death did not come from a legal prescription. At the time of his death, Perry had an amount of ketamine in his body equivalent to that used for general anesthesia in surgeries.

The investigation has extended to include Brooke Mueller, ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, who had been in a treatment center with Perry. Currently, it is unclear whether she is among those arrested. The investigation has additionally revealed a network of celebrities involved in the Hollywood drug scene, shedding light on a systemic problem within the industry.
