Mysterious UFO-like Monolith Discovered

Clear Facts

  • A hiker named Craig Muir discovered a mysterious monolith on a hillside in Wales, near the border with England.
  • The monolith, which Muir described as resembling a UFO, was standing upright in windy weather with no obvious signs of how it was placed there.
  • This discovery follows a series of similar monoliths found in various locations worldwide, including the U.S., Belgium, Romania, and the Isle of Wight.

Craig Muir, a regular hiker in the Welsh countryside, stumbled upon an unusual sight during his recent trek. He discovered a shiny, monolith-like object atop Hay Bluff near Hay-on-Wye, a sight he had never encountered before in his frequent hikes.

“I come up here most days and I’ve never seen this before,” Muir says in the video, adding that it “almost looks like a UFO.”

The reflective monolith, standing upright despite the windy weather, was captured in a video by Muir. He was taken aback by the sight, as it bore a striking resemblance to a UFO.

“When I first saw it, I was a bit taken aback as it looked like some sort of a UFO,” Muir told the Press Association.

The monolith didn’t appear to have been haphazardly placed. Instead, it seemed to have been accurately positioned in the ground. However, the absence of any obvious tracks or mess around the monolith added to its mystery.

“It didn’t seem like it was chucked in there, instead it has been accurately put in the ground,” he added. “However, there were no obvious tracks around it and one would think that there would be a lot of mess around it, but there wasn’t.”

This peculiar discovery is not an isolated incident. Similar monoliths have been found in various places around the globe, including the U.S., Belgium, Romania, and the Isle of Wight.

In November 2020, a monolith, estimated to be between 10 and 12 feet high, was found by Utah state wildlife employees who were counting sheep from a helicopter. The pilot described it as “about the strangest thing that I’ve come across out there in all my years of flying.”

The Utah Department of Public Safety issued a press release stating that the monolith was installed in a remote area with “no obvious indication” of who might have put it there.

A week later, another monolith was discovered in Atascadero, California, which is north of Los Angeles. The identity of the individuals or groups behind these monoliths remains unknown, although a New Mexico artist collective claimed responsibility for some of them years ago.

Tom Dunford, who discovered one of the monoliths in the Isle of Wight in 2020, said “The person who put it there knows what they’re doing. It’s really reflective. It’s someone playing a practical joke, I don’t believe in any of these conspiracy theories.”

Why the eyewitness of the monolith would consider the object as looking like “some sort of a UFO” has me scratching my head. As you know, UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object. It’s not unidentified. It’s a monolith. And it’s not a flying object, nor could it fly. It’s obviously an elaborate hoax.

Well, it’s been identified as a monolith, but what it really is has not been identified. And as it’s not “flying” at this stage, it would not be a UFO, but you don’t know that it can’t. And being that it is posted straight down in the earth, why is there no debris or tracks around it? And lastly, it would be pretty hard to imagine this as an “elaborate hoax”, when these things are as big as they are and have been found in numerous countries around the globe including the U.S. and with as big as they are, I doubt someone packed the thing in a suitcase and dropped it out of a plane. We’ve been getting more and more sightings including from military pilots, commercial pilots, etc and of course, the thousands of ground witnesses to hundreds of “visitations” into our atmosphere especially around our military bases and silos. And compared to our “visitors”, we amount to an ant farm to them. Seriously, we haven’t even gotten back to our own moon in 52 YEARS, and they have the technology to travel galaxies.
