WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Police killed a man who tried to breach a Cincinnati FBI office on Thursday, officials said.
  • The incident comes three days after the FBI executed a search warrant at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
  • Authorities declined to comment on the suspect’s motive, but media outlets reported that he had Jan. 6 ties.

Police fatally shot the armed man accused of trying to breach an FBI office in Cincinnati on Thursday morning, Lt. Nathan Dennis of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said in a press conference.

The suspect led authorities on a lengthy car chase after his efforts to enter the office failed, according to officials, before engaging officers in a tense standoff. The suspect, who was wearing body armor, “traded shots” with law enforcement during the car chase, authorities said.

Dennis told reporters that officers tried to negotiate with the suspect and made efforts to take him into custody with “less-than-lethal tactics,” but fatally shot the man after he raised a gun.

Authorities declined to confirm the suspect’s identity or offer speculation about his possible motive during the Thursday evening press conference, but several media outlets identified Ricky Shiffer, 42, as the suspect.

Shiffer was reported to be at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 and investigators were looking into whether he had ties to extremist groups involved in the insurrection. A social media account appearing to belong to Shiffer claimed to have been present at the Capitol during the siege, The Times reported. Shiffer was not arrested or charged with any crimes related to that day.

The Thursday incident came just three days after the FBI executed a search warrant at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, prompting fierce backlash from Republicans and calls for Civil War from Trump supporters. Some even called for protests at FBI offices around the country, prompting Attorney General Merrick Garland on Thursday to publicly defend the Justice Department during a rare statement.

Authorities did not say if the Cincinnati episode was in any way related to the Mar-a-Lago incident, but NBC News reported that a Truth Social account bearing Ricky Shiffer’s name posted mid-chase on Thursday morning, apparently detailing his failed attempt to enter the FBI office.

“Well, I thought I had a way through bullet proof glass, and I didn’t.  If you don’t hear from me, it is true I tried attacking the F.B.I., and it’ll mean either I was taken off the internet, the F.B.I. got me, or they sent the regular cops while,” the account @RickyWShifferJr wrote at 9:29 a.m. ET, according to NBC News. The account has since been removed from the platform.

The account also posted several times following the Mar-a-Lago FBI raid on Monday, encouraging all-out violence against the FBI, the outlet reported.

I’m going with staged just because the so-called news media wording to fit their narrative and the guys post take down and gone. Looks like evidence disappearing so that it’s just hearsay . And the news making it sound a lot bigger than it probably was. Did I hear right?? Heavily armed with a Nail gun and one rifle 😂

Hmmmmmm……. “Heavily armed” with a nail gun and an AR15 “TYPE” rifle. If this isn’t an example of excellence in news coverage, I’ll eat my “right wing extremist” MAGA hat! News flash to the leftists and the fake news media: All of the normal everyday people in this country ARE ANGRY and they are not afraid of a bunch of sniveling snowflake politicians. They would rather return to their normal lives, but if you insist on provoking them with military raids on private citizens, economic collapse, soaring crime rates and constant righteous lectures pointing out how ignorant and stupid they are, they get annoyed. The people who you define as “ignorant”, make up the majority of this country and you are backing them into an uncomfortable corner. They are at the breaking point of their patience. The fact that a mentally unstable person attacked the FBI office is an indicator. Many everyday citizens are reaching a tipping point. When that happens, they will begin to fight back……and there are a lot more of them. This is the USA not Soviet Russia. They are used to a good, safe, stable, moderately prosperous lifestyle. They are not used to government that regulates every facet of our lives, poverty, crime, inflation and name-calling. If the liberals insist on continuing on their current path, there will be more of the incidents and sadly, possibly a civil war.

These comnmunsit fascist FBI – IRS dems have been doing this crap since Billary Clinton in the ’90’s (Rubt Ridge, Waco). And Barry Hussein Soetoro was our first illegal president. They’ve been shredding our constitution, inch by inch, and experimenting on just what things they can get away with. They know
the constitution is just a piece of paper and since they don’t have to answer to ANYONE, and with NOBODY to call out and arrest these
traitors, their satanic, vile evil is becoming easier and easier to get away with, and their evil is getting more and more obvious and blatant!! Back in
the 1950’s Sen Joe McCarthy called out these traitors, but BOTH party’s only laughed at him……..and look where we are today!!
