Germany’s foreign-born population has jumped from 15% in 2017 to 22% last year, while the United Kingdom has experienced similar surges that resemble the recent U.S. migration crisis—despite the U.K.’s much smaller population.

These trends have caught the attention of Americans, including prominent voices like Elon Musk, who commented on X regarding the state of Britain’s government.

“[G]overnment that puts foreigners above their own people is, by definition, TREASONOUS and ILLEGITIMATE!” Musk posted on X on Sunday. “The people of Britain deserve a government that represents their interests, not those of shadowy foreign organizations!”

Musk has publicly supported AfD in Germany.

The Trump administration has also criticized EU leaders for policies that restrict free speech to avoid offending growing foreign populations in Germany and the U.K.

This rightward shift reflects mounting pressure for traditional values, secure borders, and economic accountability.
