Violence Erupts Despite Claims of Peace in LA

In a surprising statement, Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters asserted that “no violence” occurred in Los Angeles, even as the city faced significant unrest. This claim comes in stark contrast to footage and reports showing cars set ablaze and federal agents under attack.
The unrest followed a United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid at a Home Depot, prompting President Donald Trump to deploy the National Guard on Saturday. Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McConnell described the situation as increasingly violent, a characterization that Waters disputed.
During an interview, Waters expressed her disbelief at McConnell’s description of events.
“Well, I was surprised at the way that the police chief was describing all of this,” Waters stated.
“There had been no violence where anybody that was protesting hit anybody, shot anybody, threatened anybody. Nothing had happened.”
However, McConnell’s account paints a different picture. At a press conference, he detailed the dangers his officers faced.
“Tonight we had individuals out there shooting commercial-grade fireworks at our officers that can kill you,” McConnell reported.
The chaos extended to vandalism, with rioters damaging at least five self-driving vehicles and setting two on fire, according to reports. Social media videos also showed a person in a motorcycle helmet hurling rocks at vehicles containing ICE agents. The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of this individual.
Footage of the aftermath showed police cars and other vehicles severely damaged by the rioters.
“Far-left open border rioters severely damaged police vehicles and other cars at their insurrection in Los Angeles,” one report stated. “They hurled rocks, concrete chunks, Molotov cocktails and other projectile weapons.”
This incident occurs against a backdrop of heightened tensions surrounding immigration enforcement. Since taking office, President Trump has issued several executive orders targeting illegal immigration, including designating certain gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.
Resistance to ICE operations has been notable, with incidents such as a Milwaukee judge allegedly aiding an illegal immigrant to evade arrest and Nashville’s Democratic Mayor Freddie O’Connell releasing the names of ICE agents involved in local crackdowns.
The situation in Los Angeles underscores the ongoing conflict between federal immigration enforcement efforts and local sanctuary city policies, with public safety and law enforcement caught in the crossfire.

Everybody is aware of what is happening and it is not just in LA. It is basically anywhere there is total democratic control. How about instead of talking about “their” problem the Federal Government in Washington stop all Taxpayer funds going to California, let the illegal immigrants they have been coddling burn the place down if they do not take control and fix “their” problem? Plus let the California “citizens” wake up and straighten it out! Where we have democratic officials protecting illegals and disregarding the law, cut off all Federal funding to them or their City or State until they come into compliance with Constitutional requirements and laws. Democrats have disregrded border policy and laws for years and admitted tens of millions of Illegal Aliens into this country, used our taxpayer funds to feed, clothe, protect and support them all in the name of gaining voters to maintain democratic control over this country and destroy it in favor of LGTBPQRY and “woke” politics to further claim votes. Well, the American people as a majority said no to all of this democratic crap and it s time they were made to pay the piper!

Here is another idea. Wall off the state of California so no one can leave or enter. Cut the funding then put the likes of Maxine Waters, AOC, and Jasmine Crockett in California so they can reign supreme over the mess they deny is happening.
