White House says Biden not aware of FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home [Video]

- White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden learned the search through public reports.
- Jean-Pierre stressed that the Justice Department conducts its investigations independently.
President Joe Biden was not informed before the FBI search on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, the White House said Tuesday.
“No, the president was not briefed, was not aware of it,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at a press briefing. “No one at the White House was given a heads up.”
The FBI searched Trump’s home Monday, the former president disclosed. The search was related to a continuing federal investigation into allegations that Trump removed classified documents from the White House when he left office, sources familiar with the matter said.
Jean-Pierre said Biden learned about the search from public news reports that came out Monday evening.
“We learned just like the American public did yesterday,” she said.
Some Republicans have criticized the Biden administration for the search, accusing the FBI’s search of being “politically motivated.”
In a 2021 directive restricting Justice Department communications with the White House, Attorney General Merrick Garland said Justice would not alert the White House to “pending or contemplated criminal or law enforcement investigations or cases unless doing so is important for the performance of the president’s duties and appropriate from a law enforcement perspective.”
The directive, which reaffirmed some policies of previous administrations, marked a sharp pivot from the Trump era when the former president casually broke with institutional norms, repeatedly calling on the department to launch investigations of his political rivals, including Biden, Hillary Clinton and former FBI Director James Comey.
Jean-Pierre said that the Justice Department conducts its investigations independently. She declined to comment on the department’s investigation and whether the president believes the department acted accordingly.
“That’s up for the Department of Justice to decide,” Jean-Pierre said. “When it comes to the criminal investigation, it is independent and they make that decision.”
“The President believes in the rule of law,” she added. “The President believes in the independence of the Department of Justice. We are not going to comment on a criminal investigation. The president has been very clear.”
An FBI source confirmed to Fox News that FBI agents who conducted the raid were from Washington, D.C., and were part of the FBI’s Evidence Response Team. The Miami Field Office was informed just before the raid.

I THINK THIS WAS A FOLLOW-UP FROM THE LAST SEARCH AND SOMETHING THAT WAS INTENTIONALLY LEFT THERE THE FIRST TIME THAT HAD ENOUGH SUBSTANCE TO CHARGE HIM WITH WAS THE REASON FOR THE RETURN TRIP. I have yet to see what evidence the FBI had that lead them to think Mr. Trump had documents he should not have had. Did someone find a paper trail, or was it entirely hearsay? Was there a spy involved, or just a conspiracy theorist wanting to annoy the former President?

It’s another psyop to further divide the country, they want something to happen that will let them cancel the upcoming mid-terms and/or disqualify Trump from running in 2024. This is yet another attack vector, which they haven’t stopped since 2016. The Leftists/Globalists will keep on doing it until they’re finally jailed. When Wray and Garland can flat-out lie and refuse to answer questions to Congress and nothing happens, they are demonstrating that they are above the law – why should the DOJ, FBI, ATF, IRS or any of the federal agencies even think twice about overrunning anyone’s God-given rights – nothing will happen.
