The rock group Florence + the Machine has announced a new partnership with Planned Parenthood to provide health advice during its current tour stops.

Stations for the organization will be placed outside several concerts throughout the remainder of the “Everybody Scream” tour.

Lead singer Florence Welch emphasized her support for the provider in a public statement released on Monday.

“Having access to a trusted provider is essential and also the difference between life and death,” Welch said.

“In this moment of uncertainty for our rights, I’m proud to support Planned Parenthood and create space on my tour for them to connect people with the care and information they need.”

Planned Parenthood representatives will be available to speak with fans about reproductive services beginning with the tour’s resumption in Minnesota.

The tour originally began in Europe this February and is scheduled to run through August.

National Director of Arts and Entertainment for Planned Parenthood Caren Spruch praised the singer for using her platform to speak out.

Spruch noted that the new album serves as a testament to individuals making decisions about their own bodies.

Welch has previously shared personal experiences regarding a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy and subsequent surgery in 2023.

This health emergency led to the cancellation of two concerts during that time period.

“The closest I came to making life was the closest I came to death,” Welch said.

“And I felt like I had stepped through this door, and it was just full of women, screaming.”
