“Celebrating our love today and every day. Happy anniversary,” she noted on a beachside video post in which she sported only baby blue bikini bottoms.

She followed up her beachside post with more seaside snaps featuring her and her husband, where she was seen cuddling Kaulitz while showing off her fiery red manicure. “I could not ask for a better one,” Klum wrote, expressing her love for her husband in his native language, “Ich Liebe Dich Tom,” which means “I love you Tom” in German.

Although the couple’s love story is heartwarming, it has not been without its share of criticism. The primary source of negativity stems from the 17-year age gap between Klum and Kaulitz, with Klum often finding herself defending their relationship.

“Perhaps many people also think I’ve had too much luck in life. I have a great job. I get to travel the world. I can buy expensive things. And now I’ve also got myself such a great man,” she shared in an earlier interview. She further highlighted the bitter irony of the criticism, pointing out that society is cautious about all forms of criticism, except age shaming.

When asked about the age gap in her marriage, Klum’s response was thoughtful: “How should I answer that?” She further added, “I’m 50 and no longer 20. I’m not a young girl who hasn’t experienced anything yet or has no idea about life. Time won’t stand still for me, and Tom will never catch up with me. I’ll always be 16 years older, and I’m aware of that.”

The iconic model has a blended family, with three children from her previous marriage to singer Seal and a daughter, Leni Klum, with her ex, Flavio Briatore. Seal, who met Klum when she was pregnant with Leni, later adopted her when she was 5 years old.
