Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has taken a significant step in safeguarding national security by arresting Ramon Morales-Reyes, a 54-year-old illegal migrant from Mexico. The arrest was confirmed by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, following allegations that Morales-Reyes sent a threatening letter stating his intent to assassinate President Donald Trump.
The arrest occurred on May 22, just one day after an ICE officer received the alarming handwritten letter. In the letter, Morales-Reyes allegedly expressed his anger towards President Trump, claiming that the president was “messing with us Mexicans” and suggesting that Trump “get what he has coming to him.”
Morales-Reyes reportedly declared his intention to self-deport but not before using a .30-06 Springfield rifle to target the president. “I will self deport myself back to Mexico but not before I use my 30 yard 6 to shoot your precious president in is head,” he allegedly wrote.
The Mexican national’s criminal record is extensive, with multiple illegal entries into the U.S. and arrests for serious offenses such as felony hit and run and disorderly conduct. His history of illegal border crossings spans from 1998 to 2005, with at least nine documented entries.
In response to the threat, Secretary Noem highlighted the importance of reducing inflammatory rhetoric against President Trump. She stated, “All politicians and members of the media should take notice of these repeated attempts on President Trump’s life and tone down their rhetoric.”
Morales-Reyes is currently held in ICE custody at the Dodge County Jail in Juneau, Wisconsin, as he awaits deportation proceedings. Secretary Noem assured that measures are in place to ensure the president’s protection, emphasizing the need for unity and caution in political discourse.

It’s time for the Democratic party to go away because they are useless to this country. They need to step back and let President Trump do the job patriot AMERICA elected him to do. The media is no help either when they report lies. When will all this playing around end so the president can do what he needs to do to fix this nation. So disappointed
