Reports on Saturday claimed that an “angry” President Donald Trump noted that he would not participate in President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration in January as staffers lit rose-scented candles to calm the White House atmosphere.

The Daily Mail reported that Trump allegedly hid at the White House as he believed in widespread voting. According to insiders who told the news outlet, the mood at the White House was still “manic, exuberant, energized and toxic.” Together with his inner circle, the president continued to doze themselves with fast food.

His sons and officials around him were encouraging him to seek legal remedies with regard to the election results, sources told the outlet.

“He has no concession speech ready and no intention of recognizing Joe Biden’s presidency,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Surrounded by his family and lawyers, Trump, without factual basis, claimed that Biden “steal” the election. According to the source, the president was in “fighting mode and is saying Biden would be a phony President and that he won’t turn up on January 20 as that would be an insult to democracy.”

Trump was not considering giving a concession speech and said that Biden was wrongfully posing as the President-elect, the New York Times reported.

“The simple fact is this election is far from over,” the president said, adding that “beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated,” the Times reported.

Based on sources inside the White House, some officials had straightforward in telling the president that he got defeated while some gave him space to ponder, the Times reported.

The news publication also reported that aides consoled him by saying that he received the second-most votes in the history of US elections.
