Obama to return to White House, touting Affordable Care Act

Former President Barack Obama will join an event celebrating the Affordable Care Act (ACA) at the White House on Tuesday. It will be Obama’s first public appearance in the White House since leaving office.
According to a White House agenda, the former president will “deliver remarks celebrating the success of the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid in extending affordable health insurance to millions of Americans as part of the President’s agenda to cut costs for American families.”
Obama enacted the ACA into law in March 2010 during his first term in office. He will be joining President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the event.
Biden will be the one announcing additional measures to strengthen the ACA, also known as Obamacare.
Last month, Biden marked the anniversary of the ACA by issuing this statement: “Twelve years ago, I proudly stood beside President Barack Obama as he signed into law the most consequential expansion of health care in generations: the Affordable Care Act.”
“With the stroke of a pen — after decades of tireless efforts — millions of Americans gained peace of mind,” Biden added. “And because of my Administration’s efforts, including passing the landmark American Rescue Plan, we have lowered health care costs and made coverage more accessible than ever before — even amid a global pandemic.”
Obama turned to Twitter to celebrate the ACA’s anniversary by reminding everyone that “more than 30 million Americans have health coverage thanks to the Affordable Care Act.”
“During the pandemic, the Affordable Care Act helped make vaccines and COVID-19 tests available for free, covered emergency hospitalizations and prevented insurance companies from denying anyone coverage based on a pre-existing condition,” Obama noted.

Obamacare is an obomination when it comes to health care. Low-income people are given a credit value for costs, BUT if you earn a bit more than you started, then you are billed for the money, money you did not receive! This is a scam, taking cash from the poor. It also has pushed costs for everyone up!
