The 50-foot-high billboard, which will be displayed for three months, portrays a dramatic scene of people fleeing from the escalating national debt. An explosion wipes the screen clean, followed by the chilling message, “Scared of the national debt? You should be.”
“The display is part of CTUP’s effort to educate Americans to the existential threat posed by growing government debt spending that causes rising prices and threatens national bankruptcy,” the organization said in a statement to FOX Business.
CTUP’s mission, as stated on its website, is to “educate policy makers and the public about government policies that have been proven, in practice, to maximize economic growth and equitable prosperity in America and around the world.” The organization emphasizes that its mission is not political or partisan, but rather focused on identifying and promoting policies that can stimulate prosperity.
At the beginning of 2022, the U.S. national debt surpassed $34 trillion for the first time in history. This figure is a stark contrast to the national debt four decades ago, which was approximately $907 billion.
The Congressional Budget Office’s latest findings suggest that the national debt is on a trajectory to nearly double in the next 30 years. By the end of 2022, the national debt had grown to about 97% of the gross domestic product (GDP).
Under current law, this figure is projected to surge to 181% of the GDP by the end of 2053. This level of debt burden would surpass any previous records.
“Though our level of debt is dangerous for both our economy and for national security, America just cannot stop borrowing,” Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, a nonprofit group, said in January. This statement underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency for effective policy measures to address it.

Put a statement on that billboard that defines how much a trillion dollars really is.if you gave a 20 year old one trillion dollars. And they spent one million per day. They would have to live to be over 150 years old to spend it all.let that sink in.

And it’s not just about the money. It involves other world order cabal players. The corrupt: UN.-world economy forum, all billionaire funded. The NGO’s that billions of taxpayers dollars they are collecting by way of the U.N to process thousands of illegals. Just connect all thoses pieces of the puzzle. Get someone into office that will terminate many of the Agencies that are redundant in scope!! Terminate several of the agencies like ATF, Dept. of Education, etc.! Reorganize all of the Bureaucratic, overreaching agencies that continue to go outside the scope of the laws they are supposed to monitor and enforce.!! Make the agents of the FBI and DOJ re-apply for their jobs by interviewing with a committee of Constitutional Conservatives!!! Review the amount of money given away for BS Programs!!
Within a few years the debt should start going down!
