Aaron Rodgers explains COVID vaccination stance after testing positive

  • Aaron Rodgers said he feels that he is in the “crosshairs of the woke mob right now” after his positive COVID test.
  • He explained on Friday why he remains unvaccinated against the coronavirus.
  • His decision was criticized by head coach Tony Dungy, who said that a leader like him has to make sure he doesn’t get COVID because he can’t be caught unavailable during the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers discussed his vaccination stance during an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Among several other reasons, he explained that he has an allergy to an ingredient in mRNA vaccines. He added that he also talked with his friend, podcaster Joe Rogan, about the treatments he took when he tested positive for the virus. He added that one of the treatments he took was ivermectin.

He then slammed the NFL media for criticizing him for his stance. He insisted that he wasn’t “anti-vax” but stated that he was in the “crosshairs of the woke mob right now.”

Rodgers added that after using homeopathic treatments to protect himself against COVID, he applied for an exemption from the NFL but he was denied.

On Sunday, Tony Dungy and Drew Brees questioned Rodgers’ decision before the primetime game between the Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans.

Super Bowl-winning head coach Dungy expressed his disappointment on Rodgers’ decision on Football Night in America.

While he acknowledged that Rodgers “has every right not to be vaccinated,” he said that a leader like him has to follow every precaution, rule, and protocol to make sure they don’t get COVID.

“You owe that to your team, you’re fighting for the playoffs, you can’t be unavailable,” Dungy stated.

Earlier in the day, the Green Bay Packers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, so Brees wondered whether Rodgers’ condition could be detrimental to his team’s playoff standings.

He said that sacrifices have to be made, “because the most important thing is that you are available for your team on Sunday so that you can help them win.”

“You lose a game here or there in this time period, that could cost you at the end of the year,” Dungy added. “You may have to play one more playoff game than normal, and Aaron Rodgers, to me, did not do everything he could to stay off this (COVID) list.”

According to FOX Sports, Rodgers is expected to be ready for next week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Wake up idiots you can still get COVID even if you are vaccinated. How would the story read if Aaron was vaccinated and still got COVID 19?

It’s sad when people are more concerned about winning a stupid football game than they are about a persons health and the reasons as to why he doesn’t get the “jab”. Now that he has had the evil virus he has natural immunity. But once again try telling that to the Brandon administration. Bunch of uneducated whiny idiots! Grow the heck up and get educated before condemning others. Let’s open your closet and see how many skeletons fall out!

Kudos to Aaron Rodgers for thinking of his health, rather than a football “game”. Both Duane & Valerie said it beautifully. Dungy & Brees should be ashamed of themselves for thinking of themselves instead of a person’s health. Use some common sense people, we are not ” sheep” who have to follow along with all the idiots who think they know everything, & obviously they DON’T.

Look where goose stepping led many sheeple over the ledge pre fuhrer days. Looks like the piper is still fifing in front of big pharma’s song and dance Corp.
Good for Mr. Rodgers thinking of alternative medicine to combat the WuHu flu. This indicates intelligence beyond what many of his peers are incapable of.
