What You Need To Know!

  • A 19-year-old was dropped off at a hospital by three teenagers in Brunswick, Georgia, with a blood alcohol level of .464, more than four times the legal limit.
  • The victim had spray paint all over his body and hair, and his clothes were soaked with urine. He was placed on a ventilator due to poor breathing.
  • This was not the first time the victim had been abused at the same residence, according to his father.

On Tuesday, March 21, three teenagers dropped off a 19-year-old, Trenton Lehrkamp, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Georgia, with a blood alcohol level of .464, more than four times the legal limit.

Hospital staff found Lehrkamp unresponsive in the backseat of their vehicle, wearing clothes that were “soaked with urine” and with “spray paint all over his body and hair.” He was breathing so poorly that he was placed on a ventilator. Police said that he was treated for intoxication from “a mixture of controlled substances and alcohol.”

According to the Glynn County Police Department, this was not the first time that Lehrkamp had been abused at the same residence. Four days before the incident, he returned home “covered in WD-40, vomit, paint, glue, egg yolk and spray paint” after visiting the home.

Prior to that, he had come back with a “severe laceration above his left eye that needed stitches.” The victim’s father told police that he allowed his son to continue going to the home where he had been abused because he had no other friends.

Police performed a search warrant on the residence where the incident took place and “numerous items of evidence were collected and recorded related to this investigation.” They also interviewed Lehrkamp on Sunday and “The victim and his family are fully cooperating with GCPD and the investigation.”

Despite the three teenagers leaving their names with the hospital before leaving, police have not charged anyone over the incident.

A GoFundMe campaign was set up for Lehrkamp, and it contained additional details about the attack. The statement said that he was fighting a lung infection and fevers.

The account garnered more than $53k in donations. A vigil is planned for the teenager by outraged members of the community on Monday.

First these pin heads went way too far with this kid. It goes way beyond ANY initiation, but what is with the go fund me page? He is going to have the grand daddy of all world class hang overs and hopefully will get the paint out of his hair and not have too big a scar on his head, but with any luck a guy tough enough to go back there more then once after what happened to him the first time, he will recover. – The only problem I see is if he has no hospitalization but he is no hero (And, in fact a little bit dumb for letting it happen) and should not have a go fund me thing. –

Why is that an issue? Because when some poor SOB really NEEDS a go fund me assistance,,,,the people will have had it with somebody always trying to separate them from their hard earned every time somebody gets abused.

And just a PS. – The “legal limit” has NOTHING to do with how drunk someone is. 2-Beers put almost anybody over, which is way too much for some but has absolutely no effect on others. Bottom line is to get into the danger zone where you are going to risk death it requires something like over 30 bottles of beer in less then a couple of hours. (It was more then booze that put this kid in trouble in trouble and the SOBs that did it to him need a good body beating)

What is wrong with the parent for allowing this..I would have called the police, filed charges and made a personal call along with police at the house. What a bunch of baloney excuse.

Those “kids” need to be prosecuted for something, even if the boy doesn’t die. This is way beyond normal hazing. Assault would be a good place to start. What is wrong with the father who allows this to happen?

SOOOO 3 times so far that we know about ! No arrests so far ? Father basically sent him back two times after the first time because he doesn’t have friends ?? WTF is wrong with that father?
Guessing he likes to see his son get the shit kicked out of him and possibly get killed !! He needs some jail time as a unfit parent !! And is this the last time the kid goes to that house or has he still not learned a dam thing ?? So much we are probably not being told like the other 3 shots have rich upstanding parents that payoff for what their POS kids do !!!
Doctors, lawyers, politicians what are they ??

I was a single mom of 2 young men -following a failed marriage when they were 16 & 18. NEVER would I have allowed them back a 2nd time to such “friends.” I would not have allowed them there the first time without knowing the parents of those “friends.” The AMERICA I grew up in no longer resembles today’s country! Parents, engage in your neighborhoods, schools, churches, voting, & your children’s lives @ meals, school & church events, etc.!

This young man is not the sharpest tool in the shed, is he? If this happened once why on in the name of GOD would he go back again? He has no friends, so take up a hobby and stay away from these jerks that are abusing you. The father does not seem to be real bright either, and shows no love for his son, this is the problem with all this liberal crap that is going on in this country.
