The New York Knicks put themselves in position to return to the NBA Finals for the first time in over two decades, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 on Saturday night to take a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Jalen Brunson once again proved why he’s become the leader of this resurgent Knicks franchise, pouring in 30 points to lead New York to the crucial road victory. The win puts the Knicks just one game away from clinching their first NBA Finals berth since 1999, when the franchise last competed for a championship.

Travis Kelce and his fiancée Taylor Swift were in attendance courtside for the game, with the Kansas City Chiefs star showing support for his home state team. Kelce, who recently signed a three-year, $54 million contract extension with the Chiefs, and Swift were shown on the arena’s scoreboard during the third quarter as the Cavaliers trailed by nine points.
Game 4 is scheduled for Monday night at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, where the Cavaliers will face elimination as they attempt to become just the second team in NBA history to overcome a 3-0 playoff deficit.
In Western Conference action, the San Antonio Spurs will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night in Game 4 of their series. The Thunder currently hold a 2-1 advantage as that series returns to San Antonio.
