WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL.) has described former President Donald Trump’s rally in Wellington, Ohio on Saturday as a “rally of a loser president.”
  • In his first post-presidential rally, Trump repeatedly made false claims about widespread election fraud and that he was cheated.
  • Kinzinger was among the few GOP House legislators who voted in favor of his impeachment for inciting the violence during the January 6 US Capitol siege.

President Donald Trump’s Saturday rally in Ohio was lambasted by Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL.), who called it a “rally of a loser president.”

“It was a rally of a loser president. I mean, he’s the first president to lose reelection in decades… I don’t know why these people would go there and in essence ogle at and in many cases just sort of worship a loser,” Kinzinger told CNN Sunday.

During his first post-presidential rally in Wellington, Ohio on Saturday, Trump released false statements about widespread voter fraud and that the election was stolen from him, again. He described President Joe Biden as an inefficient leader and one who is indebted to the Democratic party’s left wing.

“After just five months, the Biden administration is already a complete and total catastrophe. I told you,” Trump told the audience.

The former president also vowed to help fellow GOP allies who remain supportive to him, saying that he would campaign for them in the upcoming midterm elections next year.

“We won the election twice, and it’s possible we might have to win it a third time,” the former leader touted, implying that he might vie for another White House reelection.

In recent weeks, reports surfaced that Trump has urged his allies in right-wing media and other entities to claim that he would regain his presidency by the end of the summer season.

As one staunch critic of Trump despite being partymates, Kinzinger described Trump’s recent efforts as “frightening,” since many people were continuously being led by his bogus claims.

“They don’t take people telling them otherwise… You can take me and [Rep.] Liz Cheney… and if it’s just us, you can demonize us and say we’re the aberration and we are right now, but we’re telling the truth,” the Illinois congressman said.

Kinzinger and Cheney were among the 10 GOP House members who voted in favor of Trump’s impeachment in January, for ‘inciting’ the insurrection that led to the January 6 US Capitol riot. The siege ended in two fatalities, including one police officer.

Kinzinger has urged his fellow GOP lawmakers to acknowledge Biden as the duly-elected president and prevent claiming false statements, which he described as something that is “really, really dangerous.”

We don’t want a “Trump” ever again because it was always “about him” and his big mouth, classless tweeting and his bragging. He didn’t fare well with Puitin, Russia or China.
We don’t want a Biden or a Harris ever again because they are just in it to save the democrat party at all costs and sacrifice the sanctity and autonomy of the United States. This they do by pandering to all voter bases to the extent of right becoming wrong and left becoming right.
These two are indeed an abomination to this country.
