Report: Ginni Thomas emailed lawmakers asking to overturn 2020 election results
- Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’s wife, Ginni Thomas, reportedly asked lawmakers to help overturn the 2020 election results after Biden won the popular vote.
- In the emails, Thomas asked Wisconsin lawmakers to choose new Electors, which are supposed to be chosen by voters.
- Similar emails were also reportedly sent to 29 Republican lawmakers in Arizona following Biden’s victory.
Newly obtained emails revealed that the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Ginni Thomas, asked Wisconsin lawmakers to help overturn the 2020 election results following President Joe Biden’s victory.
The emails, obtained by The Washington Post under state public-records law, were reportedly sent after Biden won the popular vote.
Thomas’s November 9, 2020, email, read, “Please stand strong in the face of media and political pressure. Please reflect on the awesome authority granted to you by our Constitution. And then please take action to ensure that a clean slate of Electors is chosen for our state.”
According to the report from The Post, the emails were addressed to state Rep. Gary Tauchen and state Sen. Kathy Bernier, who was serving as chair of the Senate elections committee.
Thomas also reportedly sent emails of a similar nature to 29 Republican lawmakers in Arizona.
After Biden’s election victory, Thomas allegedly texted Mark Meadows, then White House chief of staff to Trump, “Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!!”
In June, the January 6 select committee requested voluntarily testimony from Thomas. At first, she agreed to jump at the opportunity to tell her side of the story. A week later, however, her attorney Mark Paoletta intervened on her behalf and informed the committee that there was nothing to discuss.
Paoletta’s letter to the lawmakers, reviewed by The New York Times, read, “Based on my understanding of the facts the committee has in its possession, I do not believe there is currently a sufficient basis to speak with Mrs. Thomas.”
According to Paoletta, Thomas can reconsider making an appearance if the committee provided “better justification.”
Paoletta also noted that the Thomases have been in a “particularly stressful time” after being “subjected to an avalanche of death threats and other abuse by the unprecedented assault on the conservative Supreme Court Justices and their families.”

If President Trump is not returned to his rightful place in the White House immediately, the U.S. will follow Europe with its pipe dreams of Climate Change and Green Energy and the majority will suffer the same way and many will die of starvation and freezing to death in the winter because of the food and fuel shortages.
