Soros’s Controversial Push for Nationwide Marijuana Legalization

Published

Clear Facts

  • George Soros is now focusing on the legalization of marijuana across all 50 states in the U.S.
  • There is a growing concern about the dangers of modern marijuana, which has significantly higher THC levels compared to the past.
  • States that have legalized marijuana face increased costs in policing, hospitalizations, and psychiatric care, outweighing the tax revenues collected from marijuana sales.

George Soros, a name frequently associated with controversial policies, has set his sights on a new venture: the nationwide legalization of marijuana in America. This move comes after his previous initiatives, such as open borders and supporting non-prosecutorial prosecutors, have faced significant resistance, especially with the election of Donald J. Trump.

Despite the marijuana lobby not lacking financial backing, Soros’s involvement in drug legalization raises eyebrows. Many Americans remain unaware of the potential dangers of modern marijuana, thanks to widespread propaganda.

In 2019, Alex Berenson’s book, “Tell Your Children: The Truth About Marijuana, Mental Illness, and Violence,” highlighted the risks associated with marijuana. At that time, medical marijuana was legal in just nine states. Fast forward to today, and it is legal for medical use in 17 states and for recreational use in 24 states.

The narrative around marijuana often paints it as a miracle cure for chronic pain, but the reality is starkly different. “The medical literature shows that smoking pot is no more effective at chronic pain management than ibuprofen,” yet it is often touted as a safer alternative to opioids.

Malcolm Gladwell, referencing a National Academy of Medicine report, noted the lack of substantial evidence supporting marijuana’s effectiveness for various medical conditions. “Is it good for epilepsy? ‘Insufficient evidence.’ Tourette’s syndrome? Limited evidence. ALS, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s? Insufficient evidence. Irritable bowel syndrome? Insufficient evidence. Dementia and glaucoma? Probably not. Anxiety? Maybe. Depression? Probably not.”

A troubling pattern emerges when examining the backgrounds of several mass shooters, including those at Cleveland Elementary School and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. They were all heavy marijuana users. Among young men aged 21 to 30 diagnosed with schizophrenia, 30% of cases are linked directly to marijuana addiction.

Consider the infamous case of Rudy Eugene, the Miami “cannibal face-eating guy.” Initially thought to be under the influence of “bath salts,” toxicology reports revealed only marijuana in his system.

Proponents of legalization often argue, “But states will rake in massive tax revenues if they legalize pot!” However, Colorado’s experience tells a different story. After legalizing recreational marijuana, the state’s crime rate soared to 11 times the national average, with marijuana-related DUIs and hospital admissions climbing significantly.

For every dollar gained in tax revenue, states reportedly spend ten times more on law enforcement, medical, and psychiatric services.

Modern marijuana, with THC levels now reaching 25%, poses a far greater risk than the 2-3% THC concentration of the past. One alarming side effect is “scromiting,” where individuals scream and vomit simultaneously.

If you’re among the 57% of Americans supporting marijuana legalization, it’s worth noting that George Soros shares your stance. His track record suggests that his interests may not align with America’s best interests.

the marijuana today is NOT the same as “your grandmothers”
todays is lacked with chemicals that make people crazier than they are normally,
    they seem to kill people,
back than we sat around laughing and got the munchies, and everything seemed slower and relaxed,
so no to what evil dino-soros has to say, and why do we listen to the senile, evil, deranged person anyway
