Trump says ‘temperature has to be brought down’ amid increase in threats [Video]

A week after FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago residence, former President Donald Trump warned in an interview that “terrible things are going to happen” if American frustrations linked to the raid do not subside.
Trump said he has offered his help to the Department of Justice as its investigation continues.
“Whatever we can do to help — because the temperature has to be brought down in the country,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “If it isn’t, terrible things are going to happen.”
The former president described the FBI search as “a sneak attack on democracy.” Last week, it was reported that an informant tipped off the FBI about classified documents allegedly being kept at Mar-a-Lago.
During Monday’s morning interview, Trump talked about the “tremendous anger” that exists now in the U.S. after “years of scams and witch hunts.” He has described the FBI search on August 8 as a “witch hunt” several times over the last week in his posts on Truth Social, his social media platform.
“They break into a president’s house,” Trump said, “no one ever thought a thing like this would happen.
“The people of this country are not going to stand for another scam,” Trump added.
Trump claimed FBI agents were able to take “anything” from Mar-a-Lago during the search as his team was left outside. He also suggested that federal agents could have “planted” items during their search.
According to Attorney General Merrick Garland, one of Trump’s lawyers was present at the time of the search and received copies of both the search warrant and property receipt before FBI agents left the premise.
In a post on Truth Social on Sunday, he accused the FBI of having “a long and unrelenting history of being corrupt.” Another post said “Radical Left Democrats” have a “complete and total stranglehold” over the FBI and Justice Department.
Federal law enforcement agencies have raised concerns about a surge in threats targeting agents in the wake of the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago search. Both Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray have criticized the “unfounded attacks” on federal agents and officers, voicing their support for the DOJ and FBI officials under fire.
“Violence and threats against law enforcement, including the FBI, are dangerous and should be deeply concerning to all Americans,” Wray said in a statement last week.

This is about EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE and protecting the separation of powers in tact… Congress, the DOJ and the Judiciary are not superior arms of the government. The personal papers and necessary executive documents the former President took with him are not subject to subpoena or search and seizure. No negotiations are necessary as the Office of President as Chief of the Executive Department is not subject to the orders of other branches of government.

If the FBI and DOJ are concerned about threats of violence, they should have considered that before they invaded a man’s home without following the correct process, under false pretenses, abusing their power and abusing President Trump’s rights as a US citizen and a former President. This is purely an evil action trying to find something to keep Trump from running but guess what? He is still officially not a candidate. Their Jan 6th kangaroo court is falling apart and they now are looking for anything they can to bring him down. 7 years of persecution is not enough? Equal protection under the law says they needed to raid Obama’s millions of documents he took with him. Raid Clinton’s home where she clearly had active top secret info on a public server that was hacked and then tried to destroy the evidence, and did. Yet, no crime to be found. This double standard needs to be exposed fully and not forgotten in November 2022 and 2024. In the meantime, this affidavit needs to be seen and a special commission needs to actually investigate the actions of law enforcement. They are now a KGB like apparatus that needs to be stopped. We the people can demand and should demand it.

If we think about the papers which the FBI searched for, what could they be? If those documents were self incriminating then certainly they would have been destroyed prior to leaving office. If they were personal letters from dignitaries that the president wished to keep, so what? But if those papers proved malfeasance of other important government officials which would lead to prosecution and jail, then I can readily see why certain people would want to have them back. And let’s not forget about that pesky invention call the copier. I’m sure the former president knows how to use one.

We need people of integrity with high moral & ethical standards that can’t be bought nor would sell their souls for money or power as so many have done within our government. Our freedoms were not given to us by our government and cannot be taken away by them either. They were given to all of us by the God who created us and are written down throughout our Constitution, which words were spoken to our Forefathers through the Spirit of the Living God.
With one swift move of God’s hand he could wipe us all out. It would behove us to remember that and to know that no one is greater than another. We were all created equal, just as our Constitution and Almighty God says.
