President Donald Trump’s campaign advisory board member Mary Ann Mendoza, who is popularly known as “Angel Mom” on Twitter, was removed from the list of speakers for the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Tuesday night.

Earlier on that day, Mendoza posted on her Twitter account a thread that contains anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and QAnon references, the Daily Beast reported.

CNN White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins first reported the news, as she tweeted: “Mendoza’s speech has been pulled from tonight’s convention programming,” quickly before the start of the RNC’s second night of speeches.

The Twitter thread, containing a variety of anti-Semitic and conspirational claims such as excerpts from the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” was shared by Mendoza on early Tuesday, urging her followers to read it.

The ‘Protocols’ excerpt was linked to an official FBI Twitter account. The agency then deleted the tweet and issued an apology. The post was sent by an automated account which gives links to requests of public documents in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, the FBI said.

The thread contains historical hoaxes such as the “malevolent Jewish forces in the banking industry are out to enslave non-Jews and promote world wars … that the Titanic had been sunk to protect the Federal Reserve, and that every president between John F. Kennedy and Donald Trump was a ‘slave president’ in the thrall of a global cabal.”

Mendoza deleted her original tweet that says “Do yourself a favor and read this thread.”

After the Daily Beast’s story, she wrote an apology: “I retweeted a very long thread earlier without reading every post within the thread. My apologies for not paying attention to the intent of the whole message. That does not reflect my feelings or personal thoughts whatsoever.”

Based on RNC’s sneak peek which was released by Trump’s campaign, Mendoza was anticipated to say that Trump is the “first political leader we’ve ever seen take on the radical Left to finally secure our border and to end illegal immigration since day one.”

Mendoza was set to speak and share the story of her son’s death, a former Mesa, Arizona police officer who died in 2014 after getting into a brawl with a drunk driver.
