Biden Campaign Battles ‘Cheap Fakes’ with Special Task Force
Clear Facts
- The Biden campaign has reportedly created a special task force to mitigate the effects of videos that highlight the President’s public missteps.
- The phrase “cheap fakes” emerged from the White House after a video surfaced showing ex-President Obama guiding Biden offstage at a fundraising event.
- The campaign holds the view that it is the responsibility of social media platforms and media outlets to minimize the impact of such videos.
In an unprecedented step, the Biden campaign has established a task force devoted to minimizing the fallout from videos showing the President’s public gaffes.

These videos, now known as “cheap fakes” according to the White House, are said to be causing tension between the President’s aides and several media outlets. The disagreements mainly concern the portrayal of Biden’s age, moments of public confusion, and certain blunders.
A video that surfaced on a Sunday featured ex-President Barack Obama helping President Biden exit the stage following a fundraiser, leading to the creation of the term “cheap fakes.” The scene occurred after President Biden appeared to pause momentarily.

”
Another video from June 13 showed Biden apparently wandering during a gathering of world leaders in Europe. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni can be seen directing him back to the group.
CBS News labels the clip a “digitally altered video” but it’s the exact version shared by the White House – https://t.co/7YT3DKUGfI

A third video captured Vice President Kamala Harris and associates dancing at a Juneteenth event, while Biden stood still, maintaining a vacant smile.
A Biden official confirmed to a political news outlet that the campaign has initiated a task force to counteract the risks presented by these “cheap fakes.”
”
The campaign has “established a taskforce to mitigate the risks” arising from cheap fakes, a Biden official stated on Tuesday evening.
”
The official also emphasized that it is the responsibility of social media corporations and media outlets to lessen the impact of such videos.
Biden campaign spokesperson Mia Ehrenberg highlighted the importance of valid information for voters.
”
“Voters deserve accurate information to make their choice, and our campaign will be vigilant in calling out these inaccuracies when we see them,” stated Mia Ehrenberg. “We hope media organizations and others with influential platforms follow our lead.”
”
Yet, not everyone was convinced about the concept of “cheap fake.”
”
“The truth hurts,” Cheung said. “When the Biden campaign is confronted with harsh reality, they make absurd claims that anyone who sees Biden behaving unusually is part of some media-wide conspiracy.”

The “cheap fakes” brought to you by the same people that brought you the Russian Collusion hoax, the Russian laptop “disinformation”, the Ukraine “blackmail” impeachment fraud, the COVID-19 everything, all the cover ups of Biden crimes and influence peddling, and all the weaponization of departments targeting political opponents. WAKE UP AMERICA.

The cheap fake is the people in this administration telling us that behind closed doors Biden is a whirlwind, full of energy. The staff can’t keep up with him. Yeah sure, I can see that every time I watch him shuffle along off the stage, along the tarmac, or across the White House lawn, but you are not supposed to believe your own eyes. I know where the “cheap fake” is coming from and it is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington DC.

You are being gaslighted by the folks that lie for a living, into not believing what you see with your own eyes…. sadly many people will allow themselves to be gaslighted by the democrats and their news media!

It is not the job of the media, social or otherwise, to filter news in any way other than to remove known false information. What should be happening, now that we are in the first True Information Age, is to require the recording of every word and action by any and all elected officials during the performance of their duties. Their private lives are none of my concern. While this information should not be wantonly put out where everyone can see it, it could be used to prove that something else posted or claimed is false. Too many of our recent government issues have been a result of claims that someone said or did something that is not provable either way. Overheard phone calls are a prime example, though there are no recordings of the calls. Had the calls, speeches, Congressional votes and secret meetings, all been recorded, there would be no ambiguity.
