Elizabeth Warren calls Kevin McCarthy “traitor” and “liar” [Video]

Sen. Elizabeth Warren called House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy a traitor and a liar in a CNN interview with Dana Bash.
“Kevin McCarthy is a liar and a traitor,” the Democrat senator said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
Warren added: “This is outrageous. And that is really the illness that pervades the Republican leadership right now. They say one thing to the American public and something else in private.”
McCarthy is in hot water after new audio surfaced of him suggesting that then-President Donald Trump should resign after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. The Minority leader’s office denied the New York Times report at first.
“I’ve had it with this guy,” McCarthy told several GOP leaders, The Times reported.
The GOP congressman denied the report and said it was “totally false and wrong.” His spokesman said McCarthy “never said he’d call Trump to say he should resign.” However, the Times released the audio.
In a Jan. 10 recording, McCarthy says he would tell Trump that the House would impeach him and “it would be my recommendation you should resign.”
In a Jan. 11 recording, the House Minority leader said Trump acknowledged partial responsibility for the Capitol riot. Trump alleged that the 2020 election was deceitful and that his supporters should “fight like hell.”
“I asked him personally today, does he hold responsibility for what happened?” McCarthy can be heard saying on the tape. ”Does he feel bad about what happened? He told me he does have some responsibility for what happened and he’d need to acknowledge that.”
McCarthy is eyeing the House Speakership if and when the Republicans take the House in the midterm elections in November. He would need Trump’s backing to do that.
After the recordings were released, McCarthy immediately tried to contain the damage with Trump McCarthy had a “positive” phone call with Trump o Thursday, the Associated Press reported. Trump allegedly told McCarthy: “I’m not mad at you.”
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Friday, Trump did claim it was “false” that he accepted some responsibility for the Jan. 6 attack.
“They realized they were wrong and supported me,” Trump said.
Warren said that McCarthy’s reversal only shows a bigger trend among Republicans in Congress.
“They understand that it is wrong, what happened, an attempt to overthrow our government,” said Warren, whose interview was mostly focused on arguing that her party should pass bold economic legislation before the November elections.
“Shame on Kevin McCarthy,” Warren added.

That has always been the trouble with the GOP as they either shoot themselves in the foot or continue to destroy the party fighting against each other. Going back to Nixon and Watergate the republicans jumped out of the minds to force Nixon to resign. Yet Kennedy did the same thing and apologized for it and nothing more was said. You would think Watergate was people getting murdered instead of one party spying on another.

The fact is that the left in this country has been deserving of investigation since the days of the Viet Nam War and in the immediate aftermath of it. Nixon was correct, as more recent history has proved, that they constitute the most serious threat to the survival of the country. The Democrat Party has chosen to attempt to represent all the diversity of the left which, fundamentally, has a serious problem with the rule of law. They pay lipservice to it, but have no sincerity of obedience to it and have caused the need to check their every move. They have, again, proven how far out of touch they are with reality and the needs of the American citizenry with the current policies of the present administration.

I agree that Washington is completely out of touch with the American people. They are all so absorbed with themselves and their power. What I did like about Trump was that he was his own person. He did not need to go there to enrich himself or gain power.

When it comes to Lying, the Republican leadership is no better than the liberal commie Democrats. They all talk out of both sides of their mouths. Lying Corrupt Quid Pro KING Joe stated, this is not your fathers Republican Party, This is true and neither is it your father’s Democrat Party. McCarthy is lying to save his own skin. The Audio doesn’t like. Both RINO’s McCarthy and Beijing Mitch are working overtime, they are working with the swamp, liberal commie Democrats, and other Republicans, they are working overtime to derail a 2nd attempt by Trump for the W/H. They would rather see another 4 more years of the swamp master Corrupt Quid Pro, a mentally challenged senile old fart one foot in the grave politician, than Trump in the W/H. According to RINO McCarthy, there is thy possibility of impeaching Mayorkas the unqualified DHS Secretary. Besides impeachment, Mayorkas needs a jail cell. There are no impeachment plans for Corrupt Quid Pro. The Republicans have this stupid notion they can turn Corrupt Quid Pro into a moderate? Leporids don]t change their spots. The liberal commie Democrats and RINO’s will never change their spots. They are too hungry for money and power. Every Republican, Conservative and Independent voter should really think about primaries against their Republican RINO’s. This current crop of RINO’s needs to go. Vote them all out of office. If this leadership is going to keep this dysfunctional mentally challenged POTUS around , and think this is the best interests for the people of the U.S. They are going to do it without my vote. In the end after all these Republicans get elected with Trump’s help, watch how some of these elected officials turn to the Dark Side, and kiss the rear of McCarthy and McConnell.

It is LATE and still DESPERATELY needed for TERM LIMITS. If you agree, please WRITE IT IN ON YOUR NATIONAL BALLOT because those in the “elected” offices in DC will never vote for it so We the People must take charge. My guess is that most of the voting community is in favor of term limits and we must take control!

The way she judges Warren, is based on how she is. If you believe her rants, which is what Democrats do because they are no longer the Democrats I grew up with. The Democrat Party today does not want a United States, they want a one world Government. President Biden said so and he wants the United States to head it. Not going to happen. The United States will be gone. It is almost gone now, the country I loved, and grew up in, served in . raised kids in. We as Americans are at fault, we elect these politicians, based on the lies they tell us, (That includes the RHINOS Also, they are not Republicans, just like todays Democrat’s are not -really Democrats) They are destroying our country, they are not making it better. To be perfectly honest with you, I feel very, very sorry for them and for the children they have. What I have noticed in my lifetime, man corrects nothing because of his own personal ambitions, he wants wealth which is only good here on this planet, and stays here, we do nor take it with us to the next life. So as a population, we are loosing, and it is almost gone, the country we live in , the country our ancestors founded and established. Their Revolutionary forces even fought bare foot in the winter. Look at what we have allowed to happen to the greatest country in the world.
