A bereaved family is planning to sue after an autopsy report revealed that their relative’s death last year was caused by an allergic reaction to COVID-19 vaccination.

Jeanie Evans from Kansas passed away at 68 years old a day after she received the Moderna vaccine.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reported that the autopsy ruled the cause of death as “anaphylaxis due to COVID-19 vaccination.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there have been serious adverse reactions to the vaccine, but vaccine-related deaths are rare.

Apparently, Evans previously had an allergic reaction to the drug Albuterol, a treatment for shortness of breath and wheezing. She also had a history of environmental allergies, allergic disorder, reactive airway disease, and hypertension.

Evans received her first dose of the Moderna vaccine on March 23 and complained about an obstructed airway about 20 minutes later.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) confirmed that a woman who experienced anaphylaxis at a vaccination site was taken to the hospital.

Evans’ obituary said that she passed away “unexpectedly” at Stormont-Vail Hospital on March 24, a day after her vaccination.

Her death prompted an investigation from the KDHE after her information was entered into the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

One of Evans’ sons, Colt Umphenour, told the Topeka Capital-Journal that the family plans to file a lawsuit for wrongful death.

Last year, attorney Lynn Johnson was hired for the case, but he decided not to seek legal action for his client. Still, he encouraged the family to pursue the case with a different attorney.

Anaphylaxis is a severe, life-threatening allergic reaction.

According to the CDC, anaphylaxis after a COVID-19 vaccination has occurred in about 5 per 1 million vaccinated people in the United States. This means that, so far, about 1,256 of the 251,312,000 people in the U.S. who received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine have experienced anaphylaxis due to the inoculation.

Critics of the vaccine have repeatedly pointed to adverse reactions, arguing that such information does not get enough attention in the rush to get the vaccination rates up.

Several experts, however, argue that the risk of death from COVID-19 far exceeds the risk of having a serious complication from the vaccine.

not that i don’t support this family loss but Trump put in place that gives drug companies liability immunity just to rush through the demand for this nation at the expense of millions of lives lost since 2019. now it is up to Congress to make law on liability, for all related death due to untested Cov-19 vax. that’s the main reason why we do not want this witch doctor Fartci to force this on my wife me. i rather die by the hand of God than from these witches and sorcerers. if any of my children/grandchildren die from this witch portion, there will be consequent for those big drugs companies and this Fartci to answer my loss.
