The subpoenas were delivered to SBA Special Advisor Tyler Robinson and Chief of Staff Arthur Plews, following their supposed lack of cooperation with an investigation into potential electioneering activities. These officials are also accused of failing to provide documents that could suggest an effort to divert “resources away from assisting Main Street so it can register Democrat voters.”

Williams also criticized the SBA for what he perceives as a diversion from its primary purpose, stating, “

The SBA’s sole mission is to help Main Street thrive and grow, and they have repeatedly strayed from that mission to pursue outside political objectives.”

For the first time in history, the SBA was subpoenaed by the House Committee. This action was taken because of concerns held by Republicans on the Committee that a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the SBA and the Michigan Department of State could potentially violate constitutional laws.

This MOU, revealed by the SBA, was presented as a “first-of-its-kind collaboration” with intentions to “promote civic engagement and voter registration in Michigan.” This partnership, which is scheduled to continue until the end of 2035, is considered suspicious due to its specific focus on Michigan, a key state in the upcoming elections.

The collaboration between Michigan and the SBA originates from an executive order given by President Biden shortly after his inauguration. The order encouraged federal agencies to seek opportunities to expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and participate in the electoral process.

Michigan’s role in the upcoming presidential election is seen as pivotal. As of now, former President Donald Trump leads Biden by just over a point in Michigan according to polling averages.

The Biden Admin is spending taxpayer dollars to help him win a battleground state. The SBA engaging in voter registration efforts in Democrat cities is a complete abuse of taxpayer dollars.”
