  • Hunter Biden pled guilty to federal tax charges in California, facing six misdemeanor and three felony counts.
  • Judge Mark Scarsi accepted the plea, with sentencing scheduled for December 16.
  • Prosecutors alleged Hunter Biden spent money on luxury hotels, prostitutes, and vehicles while committing tax fraud.

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has entered a guilty plea to federal tax charges in California. This development comes as he faces six misdemeanor and three felony counts for allegedly failing to pay at least $1.4 million in taxes and filing falsified tax paperwork.

The plea was accepted by Judge Mark Scarsi of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Sentencing is set for December 16.

Former Justice Department official John Yoo has suggested that Hunter Biden is likely to face jail time.

Earlier on Thursday, Hunter Biden’s legal team attempted to negotiate an “Alford plea,” which would allow him to maintain his innocence while accepting the punishment. However, later in the day, his attorneys indicated he would be open to an “open plea,” admitting his actions satisfy the charges against him.

Prosecutors have accused Hunter Biden of spending money on luxury hotels, prostitutes, and vehicles during the time he allegedly committed tax fraud.

Under oath, Hunter Biden stated, “Nobody made any promises or pressured him into pleading guilty.”

President Joe Biden has previously declared he would not use his presidential authority to pardon his son. It remains unclear if this stance has changed since he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.

In addition to the tax charges, Hunter Biden was convicted on three federal gun charges by a Delaware jury in June.

This case continues to unfold, with many keeping a close eye on the upcoming sentencing.

I think that if he is given jail time in either or both cases you can look forward to Joe Biden keeping his promise not to pardon his son. That will happen after January 20th after Harris win the office and does it for Joe.

He’s only pleading guilty now to assure hi father can still pardon him before leaving office, notice sentencing isn’t until after the general election but before Jan 20th. Don’t want to pardon him too early and hurt the Democrats chances.

Pedojoe could care less about the rule of law. He’s a lying son of a bitch. Money says he’ll pardon or commute.

He should get same punishment as any other American on the street would be punished. Lets start one justice for all with equal punishments!

The headline is comedic, democrat elites and their families never go to prison. Personally I am surprised that Hunter is even on trial, beings the alphabet criminal government agencies usually break laws to go after the democrat party’s enemies!

Let’s hope not, but he probably will get off someway: either pardon, paid-off judge, pressure on the prosecutor, etc
