Iran strikes injure U.S. troops as tensions deepen

Clear Facts
- Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeted Prince Sultan Air Base, injuring twelve U.S. service members.
- At least two U.S. Air Force KC-135 refueling aircraft sustained significant damage during the assault.
- The Islamic regime released satellite imagery claiming even more extensive destruction of American assets.
Thirteen U.S. service members have died during the ongoing conflict since Operation Epic Fury began in February. This recent escalation follows previous attacks, including a missile strike on an island base in the Indian Ocean.
The Pentagon reported that two of the twelve injured personnel are in serious condition following the strikes near Riyadh. The base currently hosts a significant portion of the 2,700 American troops stationed within the kingdom.
“We have very substantial talks going on with respect to Iran.”
President Donald Trump provided this brief update to reporters regarding the diplomatic status between the two nations. These discussions come as concerns grow regarding the verified range of Iran’s missile technology.
Questions remain about the regime’s military capabilities after they launched missiles at Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-U.K. facility. While those missiles missed their targets, they traveled twice the distance previously claimed by Iranian officials.
The fallen include U.S. Army Sgt. Benjamin N. Pennington, who passed away from wounds sustained in a prior March attack. Military leadership has not yet released a formal response to the latest series of injuries.
